Agreed with Jeff on this, though any game where Brad shows his love of mixing jug band performers with bombs has some merit. Just too hippy for me but games like this find people who will enjoy it.

This reminds me a lot of Aquaria.

This game is on sale on Steam right now and still isn't worth it.  Played the demo for Steam's treasure hunt thing, and was completely underwhelmed.  Came on here to see what other platforms it was for and found a "hidden" quick look!

The only garden I care about is Soundgarden. 

I bought this game for indie cred, but I don't play it because it's terrible.
 
It's kinda like an Animal Collective album in that regard.

just played the demo of this on steam, not because i wanted to, but because i want to win 100 games! Didnt enjoy it very much. About to watch this, i bet they will make some fun out of it though.

Plays like AQUARUIA meets FLOWER... But in my opinion both Aquaria and Flower were more fun for their contributing parts... I still picked Undergarden up as a chill out game (like Pixel Junk Eden should have been!), since its on  sale on Steam for $4.99 right now. But i think Aquaria and Flower gave me more pound for the penny. I wont go back and play this like i did those games. maybe i should have bought it on console instead to play with the ladies (since you can't die). But on Steam single player got boring fast.

Oh dear i was worried if this would get a QL, im always pensive about QL's on games i like...especially ones like this that ask for trouble. I will admit, i hate some of the hippy nonsense it spits at you on the loading screens, and i also hate the framerate...BUT i love this game a whole bunch.

Also, at ALEX, orange and blue do go together. They are what anyone who took art in high school will call Complementary colors . These colors always go well with each other, hence the term complimentary. They are also referred to as Contrasting colors because since they are opposites from each other they clash a bit and stand out from each other. Using them together will create a very dramatic look that stands out. Ask any art major about this and they will explain further. Red and Green, Yellow and Purple, Orange and Blue. They are opposites on the color wheel, and they are famous together; LA lakers colors, christmas colors, Syracuse orangemen colors etc...

This reminds me a lot, and I mean a LOT of Whizzle, which was a free game Psyonix did to showcase the UDK. 

Also, Alex likes les Claypool. Alex just became even more awesome.

It seems kinda neat.

Alex and Brad have a weird low-key rapport. They should do more Quick Looks, of more interesting games.

I go to the Indiegames.com blog every day and even I thought this game was retarded.

This looks great.

I dig the chill nature of the game and the environment style, but HOLY SHIT is the playable creature one fucking awful and horrifyingly appalling piece of design.

Someone mod Naija in there and i'll buy it for 100%. Like this? No way i'm buying something that constantly triggers my gag reflex.
