I'm one of those people that isn't pleased with the new take on X-COM ( I guess it's XCOM now?), but the comments here are making me feel silly. Get the fuck over it.

It was just a reference to Inglourious Basterds (because of the obvious similarities) and how the Basterds always scalped the Nazis they killed.Should of been called Left 4 Scalped. No, it shouldn't because that would be fucking awful
Awesome shitty joke.

Lord have mercy, BIA, REALLY?!?! Shameless move to trick some of the BIA fans into buying a game that is nothing like the franchise.
MW3 looks the same as MW2, I Hate this game!
BIA Furious 4 looks too different from older BIA, I hate this game!
BIA Furious 4 shouldn't bear the BIA name because it isn't BIA and I know the franchise better than the people who make it. Even for the sake of argument you could say that BIA Furious 4 is set in WW2 like BIA, has what looks like a squad/has squad mechanics and is probably a 1st/3rd person shooter just like BIA, that doesn't matter because my knee jerk reaction has drowned out all sense of logic.
Ow and btw we haven't seen a single second of gameplay...
Awesome that you think so!@Abyssfull said:

Biggest lolwut of the show so far. This seems like a huge left turn from the traditional WWII series. Though the title isn't everything to a game, i'm interested to see in future interviews, perhaps, why they kept the BIA name attached to this
Although, I disagree with using the Brothers in Arms name on this, I have faith that Gearbox will do a good job with it!
What a shame.
Guys, no one has a problem with a new take on WW2 games (although thats got to be one of the most lifeless trailers Ive ever seen), its just Brothers In Arms has ALWAYS been a serious tactical based series, that did what it did very well.
This is literally nothing like the entire previous entries in the series. I cant understand why they would do that. It does nothing but create brand confusion and hurts the name going forwards.

God I'm so sick of the term IP. Can we stop using that? We the ones playing the games, not selling them.
I agree. I don't know what other term we could use, but "IP" is business jargon.
The game seems like its alot of over-the-top co-op shooter craziness which is good, but I still have to agree that the Brothers In Arms title should not be used here, its in name only & they should realise that if its not related to Bakers story in any shape or form that using the name is only for the sales side of matters and even then hell's highway didn't sell that well despite being a great shooter. So overall its just there to make BIA's fans pissed off, ah well, if its a good game I'll stop whining.
