looks great, very happy for Greg Kasavin, been following his career for many years.
I really hope this game is as fantastic as all of the previews have made it seem.
@NocturnusFatalis: only time i've seen it talk while sort of in combat is between waves or when the combat portion finished and i've sort of been keeping up with the coverage on the game.
and i know that's not what you meant, but it wasn't a very good argument to dismiss the design decision based on how difficult it is to show the game off.
but yeah brad said stuff and whatever discussion is over until the game is out i guess!
I guess this game was made in the southern part of japan.
Also, GB recusing itself from a review sounds like a good idea.

@Trylks: That's swell. When he talks so much that it gets in the way of the developers talking about their game when they try to show it off (see any Giant Bomb video of them being interviewed with game footage rolling during a Happy Hour), it's an artistic design that fucking sucks.
You're probably going to feel pretty dumb in a few days here.
@NocturnusFatalis: so games should be designed based on how easy they are to interview with?
i trust that the designers are smart enough to narrate when shit isn't going down. if you get pissed about narration during down time then just don't play it i guess!
I wonder what is going to happen with the narration if the game is localized to non-English speaking countries.

Anyone know if there is any chance for a PS3 port?Seeing it's published by Warner Bros there is a very good chance. Lot's of 360 downloadable exclusives have come to the PS3 after a year like Braid, Castle Crashers and next week Limbo is coming to PSN, with something extra added in it.
Yeah, I think being part of the Summer of Arcade means agreeing to be at least a timed exclusive. I may be wrong.

Dammit video games stop making me want to spend money on you .

Dang, I'm out of town for a week and a half the day after this comes out...
Maybe I could beat it in a day?

@sahiljain512: I think they've gone on record and said that they won't review Bastion because of how close Giantbomb has been with the development staff and showing the process on Happy Hours and such.really? I thought everyone was mature enough to understand what bias is and how to read it. I love the reviews here on giantbomb and I actually enjoy when someone is 'too much in love' with a game that maybe I won't like cause they illuminate parts of the game for me that I otherwise may not get from someone trying to pretend they don't have human emotions.
This game looks great especially the narration aspect of it, correct me if i'm wrong but isn't Mr.Greg Kasavin (integral member of making the game) an ex-coworker with most the Giant Bomb team when they worked together at Gamespot? I am just trying to address a potential bias in the upcoming review, but again if i'm completely wrong just bash me for saying something stupid
It's looking like this will be the only Summer of Arcade game I'll buy this year.yep

Oh man, I can't wait.
I hope this is a huge success for those guys. After watching all the Building the Bastion videos here, I actually care about how well it does. Supergiant have worked their asses off. They deserve this.
That was a pretty cool trailer, hard to believe the game was put together by a team of 4 people.
hmmm....fallout DLC comes out at the same time....decisions decision decisions....

Because of the Games of Summer exclusivity deal, a Steam/PSN release won't be for some time, but will most likely see the light of day. The details could have changed since then, though.I Hope to hear about the PC release soon.
I pray for that day.
I dunno... something is missing from this game. Art looks great, the audio is good, but I'm not sure about the gameplay yet. I hope Kasavin has something in store more than what I've already seen.

Writing in this game is kind of awesome. Not even interested in the gameplay but still gonna check it out.
