I was more interested in this before seeing it in action. It seems a little bland. The characters don't have enough variety in their animations. There should be more elaborate attacks depending on the complexity of the words, like puzzle fighter. Agatha Christie could summon a train; Poe could send his ravens to attack or bring out a beating heart to scramble letters. Something like that would make it more interesting to me. I realize that it isn't a finished product, so I hope that gets put in before release.
Edit: They said it's placeholder art, so I'm interested to see how the final product looks.
