Good Luck, Have Batman.
cool I got stuck the castle part
NOTHING STOPS THE ENDURANCE RUN!!!
crazy bug eye health takin batz
Warming up to this.
Having never played any iteration of this game, I'm so torn between watching these and actually going and playing the damn thing...
Another forty minutes can't hurt.
This is the highlight of the day! ^^
IN MY FANFIC, BROG AND BRONO MAKE THE HELL OUT.
The return of the ER is the best.
Good Luck, Have Brono.

Good Luck, Have Brog.
@sungahymn: I AGREE
dat victory song, so many great memories. Im liking this ER already
This ER is still very entertaining. The haters just need a bit of SCIENCE! in their life.
Man, not reading things is going to be the end of this Endurance Run.
Man, all those people that were complaining saying this ER would be terrible. If they don't think 20m of backtracking and killing the same mobs over and over again (interlaced with constant sighing) caused by skipping dialog isn't fun then they have no soul.
If they get lost looking for Barley, they are fucked with later portions of the game.
@DonChipotle: Yeah... I kind of thinking the same thing and I'm positive overall of this ER! But man... they have to start to actually read what to do next if they want to have some flow. This episode was a lot of unnecessary running arround and grinding.
BOOOONESAW IS REAADYYYYYY
Frustrating beyond belief.
Tips: Since Patrick's memory doesn't seem spot on, probably want to read dialogue so you know where to go next. They were SO close to the right area.
Tip 2: May want to read about the techs as you get them, seeing them using so many tonics when Frog had tons of MP for Slurp was moderately frustrating.
They can play how they want of course, just some advice that may help them enjoy it more too.
well.. at least they're getting experience!
I demand a parallel Endurance Run of Chrono Cross with the dynamic V-J duo.
I was hoping for the next bit of the game that's about to happen. When saw it was another 40 minutes, I thought 'great! there's no way they can fail to get to that bit in that much time!'
... cue 20 minutes of wandering. When they walked right past the exit to the canyon, I nearly swallowed my entire fist.
Yeah, it's an endurance run :)
@SurplusGamer: I thought the exact same thing. Got kind of frustrating.
NOTHING beats deadly premonitions endurance run
Roly Rider, You've been down too long in the midnight sea...
aaaand now Dio's stuck in my head
Getting lost and wandering past your destination endlessly is Endurance Run tradition.
The best part is the part where they have no idea what to do and I have no patience.
Of course Patrick should learn to play a bass, we already know he has some rad Guitar Hero skills.
Man. Really hope they start to pay a little more attention to important dialogue. I can see why they would miss that transition in the canyon though. The only thing signifying that it's the spot is the lack of tree leaves.
It's not an Endurance Run if they know what they're doing :P
The game does have unusually good basslines, all the way through, and a lot of attention paid to the sounds. I wouldn't be surprised if Mitsuda, the lead composer is a bassist, since often games with strong attention to basslines turn out to be composed by bassists - like Michael Land's work on Monkey Island.
Some tips to be helpful.
1. Press the organize button in the item menu. Scrolling through that junk as is gets annoying.
2. Read the dialouge. This was a real test of patience watching this episode.
3. Look at the tech options in the menu. Try to become a little more familiar with the skills. Once in the main village in the present time period (1000 AD), go to the building with the the tutorial stuff. This would have helped out A LOT if you had gone right off the bat...
4. Maybe consider grinding a little, you are going to hit a wall eventually if you refuse to level up some.
5. Talk to everybody and explore everywhere. This is an RPG. play it
6. Buy equipment at the store. You didn't buy upgrades for everybody. It is fine for now, but it is going to become necessary. Also, sell the Iron Blade. You gave Frog the Iron Sword not Blade.
7. At least consider playing on Wait mode instead of Active. It plays almost exactly the same. The only difference is that the enemy won't pelt you quite as often. It makes things a tiny bit easier. This would work well considering how you are playing the game. You can change it in the options part of the menu screen.
8. ...those names...
Anyways, keep at it and enjoy. I like these ER's and this one should be great.
Use L+R to run away from repetitive battles.
The second they left the castle without Barle, I knew this would be great.

I am not too sure, but I think these videos were made a while ago, as in they are not playing these right before they go up on the site. So I dont think your tips are going to help very much.
I really didn't think this game would work as an endurance run, but I have to admit, I am really enjoying it. I've never played Chrono Trigger but after watching the ER I had no choice but to order a copy for the DS.
The one thing that I do notice is Ryan doesn't always seem ... enthusiastic while playing. That concern aside, I can't wait till tomorrow. =)
