nice, reminds me of minecraft.
This is a really weird- but intriguing- move by Epic. I'm interested to see how it turns out.
I love me some tower defense style games, this looks like an interesting game and curious to see what Epic does with it.
Man, zombies and tower defense. Not a new combination, yet I'm rather excited to see the outcome.
Seen it, played it, done with it. Okay, people move along! There is nothing to See here.
Did anyone else think the subtitle of this post was some sort of stab at the VGA's?
I was in to this until I saw the zombies. I mean really epic really? of all the things you could make a new game about you pick one of the most tired overused enemy type in video game history. How about space ninjas, or I dunno slime based aliens or extremely hairy homeless deviants? Anything but zombies fuck.
Comes off as really budget with the Showcard Gothic font (or typeface if you want to be 'fancy'). Sort of student projecty.
I'm glad they are making a new IP.
It kind of looks like horde mode the game.
Did i miss something? Those ghoulish little creatures didnt look like zombies to me. And the "zombies" had the creatures stuck to their head.
@DrunkenBobDole: It better be. Someone with merit has to say something because the VGA's are total bullshit.
I like this tailer, but i am still on the fence about what ever this is. I like the idea of building fort and then protecting yourself at night, but i think it really depends on how they implement that idea. If i am basically adding scraps to a predetermined plan that i have no input over then i will pass.
Sounds inspired a little bit by minecraft, you scavenge for items then build a fort and try to hold up over night. Except here you got guns, I wanted a more serious look but I guess this cartoony look is fine :D.
Looks like an interesting take on tower defense. Hopefully the scavenging element plays a big role in defending your base, because if so, I love tower defense and I love Epic so I smell a winner
