Why is Jeff's podcast a video?

Yeah. I wish they were in audio form too.

Some people really need to think before they type...

How would we know if he drinks from a jar if we do not see it? Sure he could tell us, but what is to stop him lying?

Posted by Itwastuesday

can't tell if the focus of this series is supposed to be jeff or the jar

HELL YEAH! I wanna dig deeper into Jeff Gertzman ----------->>>>

Love me some jar time. Nice jacket, Jeff.

You have to appeal to energy drink guzzling, sailor-like cursing, "not going to reach the age of 30" ten year olds who play MW3. That's why the Spike VGAs are what they are. That's where the money is.

Xenoblade US realase = buy it, do all gamers in the US who want JRPGs a great favor.
Tales of Graces F English language release = buy it, send the signal to Namco that we actually care about console JRPGs even if they are Tales games, even if they're mindless and releasing it just a month after FF13-2.

..and to get a PSN release they need to add some extra stuff, just like what MS demands if they don't get the first release of something. But what gives, Chrome..

..and has any Wii game ever been that broke-ass, and truly in need of patching/sending in to prevent showstoppers? No. 360 and PS3 devs can learn a lot.

Perfect Dark Zero was great. I loved the multiplayer, and the single-player was alright.

Need to label the skylanders it looks like. Suprised how Jeff felt about Batman, But my approach is simplistic and i don't know about that other stuff. Listened to that twice, understand better. Doing well nwith Batman on the PC. Yay for the Halo MGS HD double mention.. and thats how I'm going to play them.

Go to Hawaii. Go to the South Pacific, say Bali. or the Carribean

When the generations over you should trade all those games on your shelf into Gamestop. You could get at least $30... in store credit.

Posted by wumbo3000

Not gonna lie Jeff. You looked pretty swag with that jacket.

Posted by vhold

I was starting to wonder if they remembered that Galaxies was shutting down tomorrow, I'm surprised they're not making a bigger deal out of that, they've had the teaser on their homepage for months.

JeffMan, now with real Skiin' action. Also, Game-sortin'.

Jeff is absolutely right about having SSD in the next generation, if they were to put a small SSD in there for caching the latest games you are playing, it would make a HUGE difference to load times, and think about how negatively load times have impacted this generation of games.

Jeff lookin motha fuckin sharp!

There was once a time when Star Wars was cool, wasn't there? I'm fairly certain I didn't imagine that.

Sometimes I feel guilty for using up so much of GB's bandwidth in a single day. Today is one of those days.

Without a doubt my favorite feature on the site. That shout out to the wife was great.

I don't think that advice is universal. For example, I intend to not buy Tales of Graces F, because I've never liked any of the battle systems in the Tales of series, and I'm totally fine with sending a signal to Namco that I'd be totally fine if they stopped making the series.

However, I will buy Xenoblade, because I've heard enough people say good things about that game that I want to see what it's all about.

Dammit. I am dissapointed to learn Kristi had a long distance thing going but that definitely explains all the dub step I've been hearing.

Reading through these comments I'm starting to wonder if some new GB meme will develop in which Jeff is always wearing Perfect Clothing.

Posted by WaywardGamer

HEY JEFF! PERFECT CLOTHING!

It has been a good year for Jars!

I have to admit, I'm really jealous of Jeff's Do Whatever plan. I really really love doing whatever, but have chosen a school/profession where it's frowned upon. Oh well, I will just live vicariously through Jeff, that whatever doing hero of the downtrodden! Uptread me, Jeff, uptread me with your STORIES.

Man, that's actually a really nice jacket. Wish I had time to catch up on my games, but I've got another week of finals before I can relax for a bit.

Posted by joe1138

Totally agree: people who are way into Star Wars are just fucking weird.

man Jeff is looking sharp lol, he needs to give us clothing tips. Love this feature! Keep it up!

With regards to MMOs Jeff. As a WoW player, I can say that there is very little of that socialising drama in the game these days. All of the group content is very automated and streamlined now, so you don't have to talk to anyone and there is very little downtime.

Why even make it group content then? Not having to talk to your group and use teamwork kinda defeats the purpose of having them in the first place. Seems like modern MMOs are pretty horrible if they might as well be single player games.

I didn't say there isn't teamwork. There absolutely is. But you don't need to join a guild or post on a message board or type LFG in a channel or go through any drama. Finding groups is automated with a matchmaking style system. The game (and the addons) are much better at telling you what is going on in an encounter so you don't need to ask people about it, you just know and do your part in small group content. In a raid setting, there is more communication and coordination involved, but even that depends greatly on what difficulty you are playing at. The new easy mode they added in WoW's latest patch, makes it so there is a minimum of that stuff required, which is ideal for someone who doesn't want to talk to people much. But if you want to do Heroic difficulty raids, then you absolutely need a guild who plan tactics beforehand, and need to be talking and coordinating on Vent and need to have a good raid leader, etc.

The way his webcam kept adjusting focus was a bit strange. I know why it was happening, I mean the effect is a bit odd visually. I feel like I could get sick if I see too much of it.
