I'm a big fan of the continuously running stage hands as UI.
A couple of the most impressive uses of the technology I've ever seen in this video. The lava stuff was pretty awesome seeing it react to the things in the scene, and the layered picture taking activity looks awesome, and I'm sure will be coming to your local redtube soon.

Ryan really wanted to lay a beat down on the guy who stood on the couch.
I mean seriously, who just stands on peoples furniture?
Yeah agreed, not cool, guy who stood on the couch.

This is infusing a painful amount of fun and into my cold, adult husk of a soul. Double Fine seems to understand that I just want to play.
I thought watching this from the beginning it would explain the hot dog suit but nah its just there... lol
One of the best quicklooks available and for the most part it is because of the game being amazing.
This looks really cool. I'm glad they are trying to make the Kinect more of a toy rather than a game; as much as I like my Kinect it doesn't really do "games" (minus maybe dancing games) that great. This looks like tons of fun.
I don't have any kids, but I have plenty of nieces and nephews in close proximity who love Fruit Ninja Kinect. This looks like their freaking dream come true.

Pretty much.
I'm so glad that double fine and giantbomb are so near to each other that they can do things like this on a regular basis.
Tim Shafer, I am signing a check to your name. Please fill in whatever amount you feel is fair.
Absolutely amazing, I can't wait to buy this. Double Fine continues to take my money and I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's been said before, but if every interview or debate was filmed through the lense of one of these activities the world would be a better place.
oh god, this was awesome overload. Schafer and Ryan together playing a kinect game. I think this video broke something in my head.
People hating on this 'activity collection,' either don't have friends or kids. As someone with both it definitely seems compelling and worth 10 bucks. On that note i'd have to buy a fucking kinect so....
"There's got to be a way to do this without signing in and signing out..."
No Tim. Welcome to the motherfucking XBox. It's at times a far larger hassle to deal with than a PC.
That copying activity there at the start is pretty dope. What a weird thing this "game" is, something only the crazy folks at Double Fine could come up with.

Holy shit at the beginning Tim & Ryan look like the same person looking at himself in a funhouse mirror
Haha. That's what I thought.

Dear god. Quick look of the year all of the years. Now to buy a Kinect for this. Yup.
I see a lot of people saying this, but I feel like not everyone is really going to, it's just the "wow" factor.
With that said, I'm buying a Kinect, honest to bob, I can't believe I'm actually going to. It's not just for this game, but man this studio is on fucking fire, I could see myself having a ton of fun and most of the games are cheap as hell. I'm moving and my new place has a huge living room, the time is right!

Wow, if the Will Smith cum face was in the real game Id so buy a kinect just for this. HAHAHAHA

I dont know that any other developer would have made this game.
This looks absolutely incredible! Bravo Double Fine!
This is the best thing to ever happen to Kinect.

I've never bought a Double Fine game (although several have looked appealing) but I can safely say that there is a lot of neat and fun Kinect applications in here that I never thought of before. I probably won't buy it, but if this quicklook featured just the crew, or another developer, then I would still find it interesting. I'm not trying to speak for everybody or anything, though.
I think what he's saying is that it's a little disappointing to be over a year after the Kinect's release, and people are still tripping over themselves to pat Kinect games on the head and doing the video game equivalent of calling mentally challenged kids "hard working with a lot of heart." At some point even damning with faint praise really just has to stop.@vinsanityv22 said:
Isn't a little late to still be in the "Kinect Tech Demo-style game" phase? Shouldn't they (developers) be applying this tech to full games already? Possibly creating new genres with it? Or are western developers, in general, just that lazy? That all they see is this motion tech and all they can do is make mini game collections?
How can you possibly apply something with no controller to most full games? Most full games require the player character to move freely in a 3D world. The Kinect simply can't do this without being incredibly stupid.
This looks like serious goofy fun but I don't think I could do it more than once.

That's called a fan base....
