did I win?
From humble (and admittedly tough to watch) beginnings, they end it with the best episode.
This was easily one of the best episodes that I've seen of all the endurance runs, despite some frustrations. Good work Ryan and Patrick.
I'm going to suggest that Chrono Cross should be the next Endurance Run or play Lost Odyssey.
Haven't watched this ER but I REALLY hope Ryan and Patrick do another one. They are so happy together.
This has been a wonderful Endurance Run to watch. Patrick and Ryan did not complete every single thing the game had to offer, but that's not what this is about. They played the game like anybody would have for the first time without help, and that alone made this Endurance Run enjoyable to watch for me.
It was a really great ending for the ER. When I played CT some 8 or so years ago I felt it was one of the best games ever made. I feel I can still say that after having watched the entire ER.
Saw it all live yesterday and what an awesome way to end the ER. Really kind of sad now though, since I can't look forward to a new episode of the ER being ready early every morning. The only problem with routine content is when it ends!
Also, now that this ER is over, it's time to get everyone riled up and start begging...

Neither of these will happen. If you're crazy like me and can remember obscure details from podcast history, you'll recall a 2008 bombcast (or possibly an Arrow Pointing Down podcast) where Ryan states that he was playing some of Lost Odyssey and that he didn't like it.
Also, on this week's bombcast, Patrick states that he thinks Chrono Cross is a "bad game" (which is an absurd statement, it's not as good as Trigger but is still one of the best RPGs on the PS1, IMO) and Ryan and Jeff proceed to mock the 10/10 score it received on Gamespot.
I, too, would love to see an ER of Chrono Cross, but don't get your hopes up. Maybe I'll just play it again instead...
@ll_Exile_ll: Well that sucks, I haven't listened to the bombcast this week. Oh well. Chrono Cross is available on the PSN, so I'll probably download that and play it on my PSP.
Even so, I'm still curious to see what the next Endurance Run will be.
This was so much fun last night. They totally pulled it out of the bag when they needed to, and it made for a terrific ending to an excellent Endurance Run. Bronos 'til the end!
EDIT: I would totally buy a Brono-themed GB shirt.
Thank you guys for an another great Endurance Run. I thoroughly enjoyed it once again and the wonderful live finale was an excellent and exciting way of ending it. You've got to love JRPGs and their insane way of piling "ending" upon "ending". Well done!
Well Done guys thank you for another awesome Endurance Run, hoping the tool boxes on here dont stop you from going another round.
Also come to love Patrick from this series, keep up the good work boys fucking awesome!!! :)
4GB video. oh boy. I'm glad I caught this live, so good to see it to the end.
It's been an amazing ride. Really enjoyed watching the guys muddle their way through. If they'd been perfect or followed faqs it wouldn't have been half as entertaining. Will miss my daily dose of Brono, Brog, Bobo, Barle, Bucca and even Bagus. Congrats to Ryan and Patrick, you nailed the shit out of that game despite all the sceptics. Now like many others I wil quietly hope the Endurance Run will return.

Just so you guys know, at 1:56 or thereabouts, if you went through the bucket, Lavos wouldn't have had a face and you wouldn't have had to fight all those battles again.
Love it at 1:51:19 when they jump for joy at the sign of a save point. Watched this live and stayed up to watch it and was worth it.
Don't know what and when the next ER will be but will love it to be like Deadly Premonition where there is two teams.
That was a really good endurance run, I feel really sorry for Bucca's mom, though. It was so obvious! :(
Whenever I've checked something online about the game since you started playing, the names have thrown me for a loop. Brono, Bucca and Bobo just seems like such logical names for them all!
Dunno why they acted so excited and scared.
They seemed way over leveled, and even the last boss seemed easy. Fun to see the ending though.
I hope that the staff took joy in seeing the pain "endured' by the Chronotrigger fans as they were going nuts through the entirety of this Endurance Run. I know I did. Now I'm going to go play with my Mammon Machine. Bye!

What about Byla...? :/
All things considered, this was a great ending to a fun run. The game was forgiving enough to let them progress even when they were playing "sub-optimally", and their bumbling made the moments when they pulled a rabbit out of the hat, whether through genuine clever gameplay or just pure luck, all the more enjoyable. Keep it up guys!
It was nice guys, thanks for the ride. Now brace yourselves for months of "you should do a new endurance run" and "you should totally play this game next"!
Hell of a show you guys have put on over the last several weeks. I know I certainly enjoyed it. When I checked into the Live Stream last night there were over 5000 people watching. Despite the grumblings of a few, these Endurance Runs are insanely popular. I hope you guys keep it up as a more regular thing.

Next up....Xenogears!!
Screw that. That is not Endurance Run material.
Thanks for the great ER as usual! Looking forward to the next one!

Yeah, pressing A on that first choice and making three steps forward was apparently too much.
I'm really excited to watch this today, but I'm also bummed that it's over. This was a lot of fun to watch. Thanks to Byan and Batrick for such a great ER.
So, it's over? I wasn't that far off. I said 50 episodes if they did all, or at least most of, the possible endings. I really need to catch up with the ER...
Chrono Trigger is a short game, but even then it sounded like they were getting frustrated near the end. Still fun to watch, and now I have to find new ways to kill time during lunch.
First Endurance run I endured. Nice string of battles at the end, well at least when they got down to 1 hp against the girl and Ryan was all like "ya know what, fuck healing, frog splash" it was like Ryan was in a zen like trance of knowing exactly what to do as Patrick panicked. After that though, it's like the game was saying "you know what, you probably could've beat Lavos a long time ago if you wanted to". Glad it's over finally, now I can rest easy that the future won't be all kinds of awful.
