I'm super excited AND worried about ME3. Please don't suck....
Ugh who even PLAYED as Soldier? Even the tech marine whatever was more fun than playing Soldier. "Yep just gonna play this RPG as the generic FPS class durdurdurudur"
Wonder how many things I'll need to pre-order/how many statues I'll have to buy to get the best armor.

I played as soldier and you hurt my feelings.

Soldiers get access to every weapon available. I found a lot of the time that 'shooting dudes' was a lot more effective than using various powers, so it's totally a viable class. Adrenaline Rush is pretty great, and stack that with something like the Armor-Piercing Ammo, and you're able to have a bunch of different ammo mods on every weapon.

Soldier was frankly the best class though.
This looks better than I expected after hearing about ME3 having multiplayer. Haven't seen/read anything about it 'til now. Glad it's not competitive. Also, game itself, if those were in game graphics, looks really cool as well.
Something like 70% of the people who played Mass Effect 2 played the soldier. I agree with you that it was the least fun of all of the classes but a LOT of people played it.Ugh who even PLAYED as Soldier? Even the tech marine whatever was more fun than playing Soldier. Soldier was actually the most played class in ME2.
Because ME2 is so much of a TPS most people gravitated to the logical class that is best suited to simply shooting. :(

What? I can't be an elcor?
You win!
EDIT: What about Hanar?
This! I want to role play as BLASTO!
I still don't like the concept of adding multiplayer just to add value to a game.
But this looks pretty cool.
Why can't I use GERNADES with my SENTINAL.
Something must have been lost in translation from Canadian to English.
But., why...?What? I can't be an elcor?
Yes!SOLARIAN W SAMUUUUUURAI SWOOOORD
@Allison: I remember Ryan saying he played as a soldier I'm pretty sure and I think Jeff as well

I played Vanguard Like a boss, hope ME3 turns a bit more into a rpg again and soldier won't be the most favored cass to play
Full biotic as always for me.
I wonder if there is a "war of words" mode where you go 1v1 against someone and talk shit with the conversation wheel till the other person dies.

That's like complaining about people who choose a Barbarian/Warrior in Diablo...

The majority of ME players played as a soldier. It's messed up but true
Oh shit, I was sure I was going to play a salarian, but if drell are an option...

The multiplayer still looks weird but I love the updated look of the game. I'm actually considering getting it on PC even if it has Origin attached because I would love to play that game at 60fps with everything cranked. PC will probably be a second purchase though because I need to see the end of the story for MY 2 Shepards first.
I'm not all into the whole co-op survival stuff, but this actually looks damn cool and not like whatever it was I expected. It will be fun to try and hopefully Origin won't totally fuck up the experience.

Great. Great. I'll have to buy this game twice now. PC and 360.
Why? I actually have both ME1 and ME2 on both 360 and PC, but that's just because ME2 PC was free when you bought DA2 and I found ME1 PC for next to nothing in a bargain bin.
...Okay, I admit it. This looks surprisingly cool. Just don't make a habit of this, game industry. ....Too late, I guess.

Sorry, but after ME2 the series is barely a RPG...its more of a TPS with some RPG elements!

I played as a soldier in my "perfect" paragon run of ME2. The adrenalin rush is really useful and fun and I liked being able to use all the weapons. Also, I feel like the most canonical Shepard would probably be a soldier class.
Most exciting part of this video was seeing that the Vanguard Charge is back :D so excited to hurl myself at some poor fool.
