Man some of you guys are brutal. I thought Brad's gameplay was fine. It is a puzzle game at points, and it seemed to have ramped up the difficulty right when he started the QL. Takes some time to adjust and try to talk to Vinny at the same time. The game itself seems interesting, not sure it is a must-buy though.

This stamina mechanic seems like Shadow of the Colossus' one brought to the extreme. I also recall Brad having a bad time at SotC quick look and people getting mad at him, story is cyclic lol.

Damn this game looks like crap, who care about them cancelling the PC version.

I like a lot of what they're going for. As a fan of some post apocalyptica, I'm definitely interested in seeing how this goes. Stories never matter as much as the atmosphere in PA survival games, and this one looks like it has enough. This made me wonder when Gary Whitta is going to start sitting in on some of these.

Hey here's a thought, how about instead of watching a quick look here and bitching about Brad or Patrick or Vinny you guys just go over to IGN or gametrailers and watch a trailer. The quick looks are there to show of some of the game and be entertaining and the guys are always entertaining, quit complaining just cause it's the internet and the person can't bitch slap some sense into you.

The lack of shadows on the characters is killing me.

+1, this could cover about 90% of the bitching on every podcast/quick look

I think this game look very intresting. I like to climb on thing and it has survival and exploring like horror games but whit out the horror even though I enjoy those games but it is nice to not have the heart in my throat all the time and never know what kind of monster that is around the next corner.

Brad is one cold motherfucker. Remind me not to ever threaten him during the post-apocalypse.

So saying your game looks "fucking awesome" and hoping that it does really well and makes enough money that the developer might one day port it to my preferred platform is "bitching".

He honestly came across frustrated about his game more than anything. I got the feeling he wasn't very confident in his game . Oh well, I guess that's what happens when 100 different people work on a game.

Sounds like a stellar example of a 3-star game if I'm hearing Brad right. And man, that ending was a huge "fuck you". No one thought to put in a lost-progress warning?

@SSully: Assuming america is about 3000 miles long and you walk at about 3 miles an hour. You can make it!....just need to give up sleeping (and the aforementioned food/water). oh and don't deviate off the path. Never deviate off the path.

I'm about halfway done with the game and really enjoying it. Playing on survivor my first time through(you still get more than enough supplies as long as you explore).

definitely not a bad game

and as someone who has played most of the game I can tell you that Brad is bad at it. At the point he is in the game he has already been told to keep his gun pointed at guys to hold them up and instead he just starts running around asking what he is supposed to do.

I'm going to finish the game today and try to put a review together

Reminds me of watching Brad play Deadly Premonition while Ryan shouts instructions at him :(

This. For a game that is trying to convey a certain mood, it certainly does a lot to kill that feeling.

This is a perfect example of what happens when a good idea has its throat cut by sudden critical de-funding. When the money-guys say "fuck it, cut our losses - ship it and move on".
