What a waste.
Enough with modern war games, they were stale 2 years ago. Time to find another time period.
@djaoni: SO CLOSE. I WAS SO. CLOSE. And then I let the tab sit for a while before posting. oh well v.v
This just want me want some more BF3 maps.
I didn't mind the campaign for the Medal of Honor so I'm in.
Looks exactly like Battlefield 3.
We need to go Sci Fi already. That world is endless in imagination, military is always the same theme and can't be changed unless your playing as the bad guys which will never happen because it's always about fighting for the good. Sci Fi could be so imaginative that whatever is created can't be said that it isn't true, because who really knows. So why are all these developers not grasping at the idea of creating something fresh, and most importantly something which everyone else wants which is a new game setting for the shooter franchise.
Hai Guyz EA here just to say Fuck CoD.
so this is act of valor the game? bet it stars active duty navy seals.
It still has to have a better campaign than Battlefield 3 though, right? Right...?
Devs need to start taking the "What if?" approach.
Like, imagine Battlefield 4 was Civil War II. American people verses the Government and what military they were able to keep on their side.
You won military-themed first person shooters! You beat me! There's nothing left now!
In all seriousness, as someone who enjoyed the last MOH more than it deserved, and despite it's faults, still likes the MW series in general- I've gotta say - I'm totally fatigued on these games.
@TheZodiac: yeah, let's get busy with cyberpunk!
let the hyping begin and than when it finally releases it will get bad reviews
@Nicky92: You mean like Halo?
The amount of explosions and the glimpse of a vehicle turret leads me to believe this is nothing more than another try for Danger Close to cloning Call of Duty. That is less than I hoped for and about what I expected. I wonder if they will spin that "authenticity" angle as with the 2010 game.
Although there was too much handholding in the last one (whatever happened to games saying: "Here's your objectives, call me when you're finished"?), I actually enjoyed the campaign by the end. It was nice to get the heroism/tragedy without the bombastic/blockbuster nonsense. And I killed some bad guys.
@dOm_CaTz: It stars the same Tier 1 guys (special forces mercs, essentially) as the previous game.
Well ... I suppose the subtitle is accurate, so that's something.
How the hell does a name like "Warfighter" get through focus testing?
The plot twist is that you end up in a first-person quicktime event fist fight with the main character from the original Darksiders.
Even if you try really, really hard to make it more like Call of Duty my response is still no thank you, sir.
Bring on the Frostbite 2.0 beards!
I enjoyed the last Medal of Honor's more realistic campaign approach. This one looks like it's making the same mistake as Battlefield 3--going the Call of Duty route with tons of big set-pieces and explosions. Frostbite 2 is still one heck of an engine, though.
More cookie-cutter modern military console shooter.
Do people really still care?
Looks like the people working on this won't be fired after it's released.
They're underselling this game with that surname.
I mean, that dude was also a boatrider and a gunhaver, I bet he even ends up being a gernadethrower or a rocketlauncher... wait...
I'm really interested to see what Danger Close does with their second effort. Enjoyed MoH's campaign quite a bit so I'm looking forward to this one.

Nice, really nice.
HD remake allied assault, do it.
Let's hope it's better than the last one...
@chilibean_3 said:Even if you try really, really hard to make it more like Call of Duty my response is still no thank you, sir.Wait, wasn't the 2010 game already like Call of Duty, just with more bugs and "I'm falling on my back in slow motion in first person in front of a huge explosion" scenes (something they built the entire BF3 campaign out of later)?
Pretty much! But now with more explosions and a guy that maybe kind of looks like Price if you squint!
People are sick of modern war games! who knew! I say lets go back to WW2!
Medal of Honor: Mouthbreather.
On a side note: Has MoH mattered since MoH PS1 or MOH:AA ?
Come on EA, didn't you get the hint from the last one? We all just want Battlefield - Bad Company 2143, so wait until that and claim the throne.
Why are they trying so hard for this to seem badass? I think you gotta give COD props at least for instead of trying to make you think their characters are badass, more like, they are assholes or just dumbasses and that the game is just full of crazy shit that is fun. Tier 1 operator? Are you kidding me? Like that means anything to anyone in a video game. Maybe if you were out on a real life mission, but who cares.
Nope, I'm interested in this one. For all the negative comments out there.
I kinda liked the last MoH, atleast in theory.
I should probably just leave this one.
Also OGA isn't a special forces unit why did they put that in there... strange.
Yup. That is another Military shooter alright.
After the 5min long GTA V trailer 1 min trailers now feel disappointing to me. They didn't even show any gameplay :-(
I quite liked (the last) Medal of Honor. Better SP campaign than BLOPS imo. Not quite as good as OFP: Red River, but nobody played that.
Regardless of the game, I really like their logo splash screen with the dirt explosion in the background (the previous one was better though).
