The hype is relentless.
What the fuck... Also, the "honest" one was Abe, not George, right?

I know, right?Nice.
Pretty creepy that it looks at you when you attack, even if it's shooting something else.
So do we a Ben Franklin robot that runs through walls like Kool-Aid man?
This game looks so fucking cool. So excited.
Also, this is entirely unrelated to what the video was about, but the background music they were using sounds great. I hope the entire soundtrack sounds that good.
Am I the only one that thinks this is incredibly stupid?
...Maybe I'm just getting sick of the hype =( Seriously, almost 2 and a half years between announcement and release is waaay too long...
Probably not, but personally I couldn't be more excited. Say what you will about the gameplay, but the first Bioshock still has the best use of environment to tell a story. Incredibly moody, fantastic touches scattered throughout, and a flat out fascinating world you're picking your way through.Am I the only one that thinks this is incredibly stupid?
What if the new Assassin's creed takes place in Bioshock Infinite city, think about it.
I'll be disappointed if Fox News can't spin this into something about a media assault on America's cherished institutions.

Best trend of 2012: George Washington.
Correct.
George Washington Fun Fact: Washington was given a nickname by the Iroquois that translates variously as "Town Destroyer" or " Devourer of Villages". So there's that.
I'm looking forward to the game but I almost fell asleep half-way through the video.
What makes him any different then a big daddy? Once you initiate combat with anyone in the game can you reason with them?
*le sigh*
Should I add Giant Bomb to my new list of websites to avoid within 8 months of an anticipated game's release? I have a spot open right next to Kotaku.

Ken Levine should change his title from Creative Director to Creative Genius.
Agreed. There's a lot of thief being reflected in this one. Those remind me of the end of thief 2.
@xxNBxx: The fact that they're only one of a few "heavy hitters" and they're immediately aggressive. They're not protecting anything, just massive killing machines. And I assume they'll be a little easier to take down since they'll be more common.

Guild Wars 2 was announced 5 years ago and is coming out some time this year, and that game is going to be awesome. Sometimes taking the extra time to get things right is worth it in the end.
Wait what was that game that had a robo-president and like a robo-government, and your quest was to scam some document, like a Magna Carta or a Constitution off them? That was crazy, whatever it was.

I believe you're thinking of fallout 3. since it had the museum quest where you meet a robotic model of a president (George Washington i believe) and he thinks you're a british spy trying to take the constitution. also the real president turned out to be a robot at the end of that game.

The Cherry Tree Story is the Honesty part.

SO BASICALLY THEY'RE BIG DADDIES. OR THIS GAMES EQUIVALENT OF THEM.
Except he is one of many different enemies, each with different weapons and skills, while the Big Daddies were all copies of 2 (or 3 in Bioshock 2) models. I believe the robotic guy that throws horses at you (in the earlier trailers) could be consider one of these too.

Or you could see the title and ignore the post....
*le sigh* at your attitude... also you should avoid Kotaku period, not just in 8 month increments.

Ahaha, yeah, you're right. I just realized that I've forgotten everything about the third Fallout. New Vegas's awesomeness must have overwritten it all in my mind. But it FO3 did have neat crazy parts like this.
I don't understand why this and AC3 have the America tones going, but only AC3 got the hate for it.
Think he chopped down a cherry tree when he was a child and fessed up to his Father about it....saying he couldn't tell a lie or somesuchery
I'm thinking of stalking Ken Levine...is that weird? That's not weird, is it?
