Are the comic vine guys even in the same office as the rest of the whiskey group ?

For the record, I'm not speaking to the quality of either review. I just thought it was funny as I was tabbing through my Whiskey Media sites seeing the double review with such radically different scores coming from essentially the same office.
I suppose the screened guys rate it on how good the movie is and the Comic Vine guys rate it on how good of an adaptation it is.
I don't want to "dig deeper into John Carter."
But hey, look at it like this; if you want to see it for it's comic-connections it's better than if you want to watch it for it's cinematic quality.
A lot of people liked it in the comments for the Screened review. I guess it's up to the individual to go see it and form their own opinion.
I saw that, mostly because I was gonna read the screened review and pressed the wrong button.

No surprise here. The Comic Vine staff wouldn't even know a bad comic book if it punched them in the face and insulted their mothers.
Damn straight, I remember making a thread over my distaste when they gave BATWOMAN 5 stars repeatedly when the whole comic has been shit. I will continue to approve of most of what Tony does but that's about it.
