DLC
Oh great, epilogue DLC... I guess that's why Brad and Vinny were complaining about the ending. They wanted to sell you one later.
5 dlcs in total, not so interested in the Ryu and Akuma stuff but the extra episode stuff seems like it'll be awesome.
I was going to say that this reminded me that I should play this game, but then I realized I should just wait until they put out Ultimate Asura's Wrath with all the DLC on disc.
I watched this game on youtube and that was an amazing, free, experience. I highly recommend it if you don't have the cash to spend. It might actually be better since the actual playing parts don't seem very interesting. Most of the gameplay is mediocre hack and slash.
Pay for the real ending? C'mon, Capcom. You've been shooting yourselves in the foot so much lately with this shit that there isn't much foot left to shoot. I guess you've started working that ankle bone at this point.
It's a petty interesting idea just selling anime movies as game DLC, as opposed to making an OVA release or something like that. I'm surprised I haven't seen that done before. It actually makes a lot of sense.
Studio 4°C is a pretty amazing studio so at the very least those episodes should be fun to watch. If you like anime i guess...
fuck capcom, i think im done buying their games for a while. between this and sfxt and that that other shit theyve pulled in the last few years.

Exactly what I was thinking as well. No way I'm spending $6 on the ending to a story, especially since this entire game is nothing but pressing A and watching things go crazy-go-nuts...
wait... what?
I was like "oh okay pretty standard DLC"
look away for a bit, and then look back.
"Wait... Ryu? what is he doing in this video... what WHAT?!"
At least it's priced somewhat appropriately. Except for the incredibly stupid "true endings" that is.

Now you just reminded me that I'm probably going to have to pay $10 for DLC to get the real ending to Mass Effect 3...
THIS IS A HORRIBLE TREND!
I'm slightly confused... So some of those "episodes" are just straight animated shorts that count as chapters while others will be actual playable levels?
I was reading the comments, and I thought the comments about Ryu and Akuma were just jokes about it being made by Capcom.........I really wish they were...

I wish I could say this as well. But I'm in an unfortunate position. Dead Rising is my favorite gaming franchise. I'm a hopeless Frank West fanboy and I know myself well enough to know that I'll never pass on a DR game.
So my place is this: Screw Capcom except when they are making a new Dead Rising game. Screw them with industrial strength screwing machines found on construction sites. Screw them with the space drill that mines for rare unobtanium deposits on far off planets. Screw them with hatred... (unless DR3 is about to be announced).
@Ares42: It is 4 episodes. So you're looking at another hour and half to 2 hours of content. If every other peice is only 1 episode in length, then paying only 3 times that instead of 4 seems appropriate to me.

oh wait, I thought it was just 4 true endings to original episodes. Didn't realize it was a continuation of the true ending. Still though, calling it true ending etc doesn't help them much :P
Still waiting for a severe price drop before picking this up. 20 euros sounds like what I'd put down for this game - especially with DLC on the horizon.
Definitely appropriate pice for the number of episodes you're getting. Especially if the ending episodes are anything like the final ones from the main game. Those went on for a while, and were so bananas.
Good thing I have no desire to ever play any more Asura's Wrath. Just gonna wait for it on YouTube and cut out all the kinda-dull gameplay.

<insert petition joke>
Capcom continues to be gross.
The Street Fighter cross over? Will likely be completely unrelated to the story, so that's okay.
What seems to be 2 animated shorts? Pretty cool idea for some extra content, honestly. Fine.
The fucking ending to the story? That's some BS.
I will continue to not buy Asura's Wrath.
This is pretty disgusting. Leave it to Capcom to make the best and worst DLC imaginable. The Ryu and Akuma stuff is cool, but the "real ending" stuff has to stop.
GODDAMMIT
Really want this game but fuck them if they're going the route of selling the ending as additional DLC.
Wow, I didn't realize that they were selling the ending. I thought it was cliffhanger for a sequel. Oh well, I'll probably get it.
First platform to make the full game downloadable for $40 gets my money. Go! I will pay for a DLC ending if the base game is that much, in that format.
How dare Capcom offer DLC and FORCE Me to buy it!!!!! DLC IS EVILLLLLLLLLLLLL
nothing good ever comes out of it o wait Fallout3 and a couple of New Vegas packs where good
Wait, so it is the Animatrix and Asura as SF4 DLC, or is it really Ryu and Akuma in Asura's Wrath? WTF is going on here?
