This actually looks really awesome.
I'm really glad we have this, and not some Walking Dead FPS game or something.

woo
god dammit been wooing like an idiot to get that achivement... some day.
anyway been waiting for this, have no idea what this game is about.
On the podcast ryan was all like "Year jurassic park didnt really hit those notes". Here? "Yeah that game sucked hot air"
Just finished this, very much enjoyed it. As some technical issues though.
i played through this without any HUD and i would advise people to do the same. Way more satisfying when you discover items in the environment.

I did the same, the game holds your hand enough without a HUD screaming at you to CLICK HERE WITH THAT!
Anyone else notice that the stuttering that occurs with the PC version doesn't seem to affect the PS3 version at all?
edit: Apparently it's an ATI driver problem.
When it got to the answering machine closeup, that's when i decided yep buying this.
Dude sounds like he's Jacob Taylor's shitty dad from Mass Effect 2. Probably is.
This actually looks pretty great! but I'm now totally aware of the tripping over thing for better or worse.
EDIT: Wow that was the first Quick Look in a while that I didn't want to end.
I know this is based on the books, but do they discuss the TV show in this Quick Look?
I ask as I haven't started watching season 2 yet and don't want it to be spoiled before I do.
Wow! This quicklook actually convinced me to buy rather than being the usual productivity distraction at work. Seems really good.
I totally won a season pass for the game from Gary last night! Played the first half. It really sucks you in and forces you to make decisions. The game isn't fuckin around!
Finished this yesterday and god fucking damn was it good.
I actually cared for Clem as a character unlike Carl who should be thrown to the zambis from the getgo.
I played this through yesterday and it's pretty good, can't wait for the other episodes.
much better than Back To The Future and from the looks of it, Jurassic Park
Wow, this actually looks pretty damn good. Not usually into these types of games, but I feel compelled to pick this up.
Uh, did I hit the wrong button? Holy goddamn hell, pressing a single button and talking at the same time, right guys?
Edit: game looks pretty good.. I´m not a fan of the direct control stuff, but I guess they have a bunch of action scenes that require it. Would love to see a real adventure game with slower paced puzzles in a post apocalyptic zombie world.
I played through it last night. Took about 2 hours. I recommend using the "Minimal" setting. I was really impressed with how important it was to me as a player to keep Clementine safe.
IMO This first chapter was better than the entire TV series. There are a few weird story holes and characters making some pretty big assumptions to progress the story but this game made me actually give a shit about every character.
It might say something about the game that I was constantly wishing Patrick and Ryan would be quiet so I could listen to the dialogue.

Its good character design that you actually give a crap about her with so little time interacting. I couldn't give 2 fucks about Duck...but Clementine...I would straight up punch a walker for her.

Holy shit, bro; I thought he sounded familiar! As it turns out, you are correct. His name is David Fennoy.
I JUST finished this game, and I absolutely LOVE IT ! And I'm not even a Telltale fan (I played BTTF and I thought it was "meh") Looking forward to this QL... and Episode 2 :'D
I think this is one QL I'll be watching after I beat this. Game looks really good.

Do people really play Telltale games on console?
Is it any harder to believe than people playing FPSs on console?
The quick look pretty much sold me on the game. I'll probably wait for the entire thing to be released, so I don't have to wait to see what happens next, but it looks like a really interesting game.
