Also I could swear Laras breasts are getting bigger every time they show that game.
Maybe Crystal D licensed a reality distortion field?

Whining about IE in that capacity = I am an uninformed idiot or I am living under a rock for more than 5 years. Get over it guys, IE9 is just as good as any browser today on a technical level.
@NegativeCero: I have to say my English is not good enough to see anything there. :(

Oh my gosh. You are so wrong. But please stay happy in your fantasy world.
Pretty boring on the whole, I don't know why I get excited every year. The highlight for me was the South Park section, the game seems cool and Trey was hilarious.
That Usher pun the presenter made at the showcase nearly made me stick a pen in my ear, that and the shit-eating grin on his face after he said it jesus christ lol

Alex Navarro. You try too hard to be funny. You rarely are.
I would disagree.

as a webdeveloper let me say ... no ... it has gotten better but it's still worlds apart from opera, firefox or chrome.

The lack of an Alan Wake announcement is quite depressing.
It's a next-gen game, along with anything else worth a damn at the moment. Nintendo are the only ones who will be showing anything potentially amazing.

You would be incorrect about that.
Good job on the headline Alex I both hate you and love you all at the same time.
The Tomb Raider game looked amazing and The South Park portion was hilarious!
Hes right though, i have to use IE for work and its fine!@insanejedi said:

i thought the best part about the demos was the splinter cell stuff. maybe it was just the dude playing it, but that game looks fluid as heck and the only game doing anything that feels new.
Don Mattricks hair was furrked. looked like he rolled straight out of bed without a coffee.

I think his point is the people attending are from website outlets and IE is a turd and has been since the dawn of time. Saying it's as good as any browser proves that -you-re the uninformed one.

Fact: IE9 Will get a 100/100 on an Acid3 Test
Fact: IE9 Will benchmark comparably to any other mainstream browser including Firefox and Chrome for Javascript
Fact: IE9 Will open and load as fast and in most cases faster than any other browser.
This is not opinion; these are objective repeatable facts that are cross comparable that show on a technical level that IE9 is just as good if not better than any other browser. I don't even personally use IE9 on a daily basis (thanks to Firefox Sync) but I'm tired of people being stupidly ignorant and bashing IE when the notion is outdated and no longer warranted.
Sorry, but that "keyboards don't belong in the living room" jab was dumb as shit. They just wanna force you to buy a $150 Kinect instead of letting you use a $20 keyboard.
Halo looked good and I continue to be excited for the Tomb Raider reboot. The new Sam Fisher game looks promising too. Its action reminded me of a John Woo movie. That might not be well received by Splinter Cell fans, but I liked it. I haven't had an interest in the series since the previous Xbox, but this could turn me around. We'll see whenever it arrives. The South Park game was the other highlight of the MS show even though we didn't see any of the game play. Still, the humor and writing looks spot-on for the TV series, so here's hoping.
As for the rest of the show, I wasn't really interested in the offerings. The Resident Evil 6 demo looked as if someone had cobbled together the climaxes of a dozen different movies and wedged them into three minutes. It managed to make the later COD: Black Ops 2 demo look tranquil.
The Nike intro was really grating to me. There wasn't a shred of humility from its presentation. Just Nike is great and blah blah blah Nike makes water wetter. I have Nike sneakers so I don't hate the company, I just disliked the introduction to there new software.
Disappointed that Ironside is not the voice of Fisher. After playing all those games with Ironside as Fisher this just seems weird. Why not just change the protagonist? It doesn't have to be Sam Fisher does it?
yeah. Apple's little bluetooth keyboard is actually pretty damn awesome in my living room.Sorry, but that "keyboards don't belong in the living room" jab was dumb as shit. They just wanna force you to buy a $150 Kinect instead of letting you use a $20 keyboard.
@PEIWARRIOR: If you mean vita games then you will probably be right. Our only hope for any pulse during Sony's conference is the rumor that they might do something crazy with subscription gaming. They might do a lot of stupid things but at least it makes for great conversation.
Microsoft at this year's E3 was pretty boring, but they did have some interesting games. They could have worked on their presentations better...maybe make them a little less cheesy? Also...LESS KINECT.

They could have teased something. Anything. But no.
But do you really want that? Do you really want them to show a game like lost guardian and than not see it for 2-3 years? Or say something about their new machine only to leave you hanging until NEXT YEAR to hear about it again? What's the point? Or announce games in which development hasn't even started yet (Nintendo did that with super smash last e3)? I'm so tired of seeing BS titles at these shows. In fact they MS did throw in a few 2013 trailers in the middle just because.

Yes, that is what I want. The point of E3.
To be honest, I find most e3 press conferences dull and painful to watch. Unless they do something incredibly stupid

Kind of a weak showing from MS this year.Sorry, but that "keyboards don't belong in the living room" jab was dumb as shit. That's another thing. I can already watch YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and all the rest not just on my PC (which I also have hooked up to the TV), but through my Blu-Ray player and a media player I bought off the cheap some time ago. Neither of these things ask me to pay a yearly subscription fee on top of the charge for the services themselves. It really feels like Microsoft has completely and utterly forgotten what brought them to the forefront of the industry... And completely ignored how large Sony looks in their rear-view mirror now.
i cant be the only one who wants to punch don mattrick in the face! i mean i really have nothing against the guy, but just something about that smile,

Same shit, different year.
At the very least, they could have had another LSD inspired pre-E3 Kinect event.
