Hooray the green screen intro :D
So....
Brad's thoughts on The Last of Us were that he is less interested in it knowing that it is actually a videogame that you play like a videogame?
Oh Patrick, you and your darling over analyzing.. I don't think anything about Halo is a puzzle.
Thank god someone mentioned the fact that Michael Ironside isn't voicing Sam Fisher any more. I actually wanna play the game less now. Pleased that it was Navarro who brought that up.

The fuck. That's bullshit
Dammit Fisher, I'm pulling you out.
The intermission before Sony's part cracked me up, gj.

The thing that bugs me most is that Ironside does some really shitty movies, for really shitty pay. So that couldn't have been the issue. I'm guessing someone at Ubisoft was all like "get someone younger!"
To reiterate: Bull shit.
I was a Halo fan but I thought Halo 4 looked pretty lame, especially when compared against Crysis 3 and the new Medal of Honor.
I can't believe Jeff (at the moment) forgot about the nasty dubstep for Forza Horizon.
Alex, What's with all the IE hate lately? You do know that the most recent version is actually pretty good right? Hell I still use Chrome but you come off as a little behind the curve every time you mention Internet Explorer. If you were just being dismissive of browsers on the console, fine, but it came off as a little rough on Internet Explorer, and you're a known hater of IE. It's not really cool to hate on it any more though because it's a really solid browser these days.

A big issue is Ironside himself. His voice is fine, but now that they are using motion-capture technology for the animations and cutscenes, Ironside just doesn't make sense. He simply can't be the voice, face, and body presence of a much younger, skinnier character. And he knows it. Unless they want to make Fisher into an overweight agent in his sixties, Ironside just can't do what Eric Johnson can do for the role now.
He has already given Johnson his blessing on it, and he has praised Johnson in the past while preparing him to take over as Fisher. Let's believe in his judgment and see what Johnson can bring to the table. Ironside believes in him, and that's enough for me to at least give him a chance.

Thanks for the link, but I'm not premium; so I can't watch it.
Where's the proof that the shootmania segment wasn't live?
Isn't that just facilitating a rumor? It's a big accusation that no one seems to care about.
The segment was pretty awful but I don't see a reason to shit on them more like that. Where's the proof?
The multiplayer in Watch_Dog looked to be cooperative. The dude on the phone said to protect Aidan. Though to be fair, he did add something to the effect of "we want him alive, for now".
The part in God of War: Ascension where Kratos does that AOE move and the camera zooms in and he makes that face. I gotta say, everything else looked kinda boring but that facial animation looked really really good.
Aisha Tylor clearly into games? I would have thought the giantbomb crew would be experienced enough not to fall for the feeble gamer gurl act. And she was just a horrible and unfunny as Tobuscus.

She actually is though. Not saying she was a good host, and yeah, she does really stupid shit with it, and is always awful when she's a part of marketing for games, but she is actually really into the games. I agree she was an awful host, but it's been known that she genuinely enjoys games. Just because she's an awful stage presence and not at all funny doesn't make that untrue.
EDIT: Just saw the end. Now I want Mac and Cheese, thanks!
(Also: Oorah!)
As much as Ubi had their usual goofy shit. They fucking killed it.
Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed, Shootmania and RAYMAN are the games of e3.
Pikmin3 is up there but that was all Nintendo really had.

Hes actually kinda right, its a bit like rock paper scissors
They had that Zombi U on Gametrailers.
It actually looks like it could be really cool. It's a first person shooter zombie rouge-like inspired survival game.
Worth a look but it'll be out and reviewed long before I can buy a Wii U.

The amount of applause for the violence all through e3 was kind of disturbing. Especially when everyone was so disgusted by some boobies being on screen for a few seconds.
Is that just how it is in America? I've only been to Vegas so my view of America is probably a bit skewed.
What bummed me out about the MS press was that most services will be US-only. No Netflix, Game of Thrones, Bundesliga/Champions League in Germany for example.
