Really? I'm color blind as well but bright red colors are pretty distinguishable but I know it varies from people and I've had the similar issues with other games, at first I thought it was because he said the combat was dificult.

Him dragging the NPCs around reminded me of the how funny that animation is in Prototype.

The magic of Giant Bomb, a Quick Look sells me on a game that wasn't really on my radar.

Ok. Just finished watching the QL. This violence against women in video games ... I am not down with that.

I obviously don't like fun. But more disturbingly - the way Vinny enjoys it and does it randomly, without hesitation.

I know, it's a video game. But, man ... that is ... not ... my ... thing.

It definitely does vary. I have pretty low red/green color-blindness and it doesn't really affect me all that much in day-to-day life. I've been playing a lot of this game and can definitely tell when to counter. Vinny's may be more severe, or maybe he just wasn't on-point and was missing counters for reasons unrelated to color-blindness. Both are a possibility.

e: Even with severe color-blindness, you could learn to counter in this game as enemies will do a little "I'm about to attack you!" animation. I know people with much worse color-blindness than mine that use tactics such as these on other games that use color coding for gameplay.

@buckybit: I think it was maybe violence against NPCs, it just happened that they were women. Come on, NPCs don't have feelings!

@Aegon: I understand - it's a video game. Nothing is real. I am a dude. I don't care about 'male' video game characters smashing each others faces. I grew up with that.

Hitting 'women' - for me as a guy - adds a new 'quality' to it. It is disturbing. I am way less comfortable with that. And - again - the way Vinny does it, without hesitation, and everybody in the comments enjoys it, as it seems.

I used to debate video game hating elderly people "this is not real. It is a virtual fantasy" - yet, the older I get, the less I can stomach maybe.

And then, there's this "American culture" = violence is fine. These game mechanics cater to a certain sociopath behavior, many seem to fantasize about?

I'm so glad Vinny lead this quicklook. Awesome QL and the game actually does look really fun. The last minute was great though. I'd just like to see 10 minutes of edited clips of Vinny just doing dumb stuff in the game.

the big question is: is there a yellow bruce lee suit in the game?

Besides the combat this looks like a by the books open world game but I still wanna play it sometime. Also the end of this Quick Look is fantastic.

I think the world would be a better place if we all tried to be like Vinny.

While I think this game looks pretty cool overall, I'm not so sure about the fact that the enemies are melee sponges and take forever to kill.

The hacking minigame is an easier version of this game(or thissimilar game).

the fastest way to solve those kinda code puzzles is to first figure out what the numbers are and then worry about the order. I got really good at these playing jets'n'guns because thats the thing that it used for opening boxes of loot you found

This actually looks really cool and the melee combat looks brutal. Also happy to see that the melee is actually challenging and not just the "Mash X To Win" nonsense that plagues a lot of titles.

Surprisingly great QL for a surprisingly great-looking game. Definitely need to give this a shot. Also, I heard Shuffle. I am happy.
