EX :(
A good EX though cause the dev guys are cool and joke casually. Ryan actually sounds more like a PR guy than any of them in this quick look because he seems to love the game so much and can't stop talking in depth about it.
It just happened today. Like, about 6 hours ago as of now. What? This was live?! When did this happen?
Nope, not gonna watch this. Pre-ordered the game already, so I wont be spoiled by this.
Big Jeffrey got out of the roller coaster park to kill aliens... Yup, sounds about right.

Firaxis dude sounds uncannily like Dave Snider at times.
You read my mind!
I love when they do quick looks with guys who are actually fans of the website. Big Jeffrey was a deep GB cut, but referring to Alex as "Nic Cage" was arguably even deeper.
Also, the game looks badass.
And Firaxis, please re-release SimGolf on Steam in widescreen and for modern Windows/OSX. Playing the original game on Windows 7 is janky as fuck, but SimGolf still rules.
First time I've seen this game in action and it looks goddamn amazing and seems to be a worth successor to the XCOM legacy.

I could really use this game right now. The demo is underwhelming inasmuch as it's just the tutorial.

But will I, the core gamer, enjoy it? I'm unconvinced.
Listen, buddy! There's a level of obsession you need to have before you can grab that tag. Play some more Halo, Mass Effect, or Skyrim and get back to me.
This seems all right, despite being a bit buggy in a couple of places. I just hope the UI translates well over to PC. I'm seeing a lot of...big menus.
And of course, Brad is the first to freak out =P (jk, Brad).
Game looks awesome, but just as terrifying to play as the original.
@Abendlaender: There's nothing on here to spoil as it's randomly generated scenarios. I recommend not skipping it for that.
Oh man, I need this game in me. So many hours to be lost, so many late nights to be had...

Applause.
This is an example of a great Quick Look EX, well done fellas. The game looks great btw.
Those Firaxis guys have MY full permission to come back anytime! Really enjoyed this and made me want this game as it was completely off my radar (never played the original). Downloading the demo now as a matter of fact
I'm going to have wet dreams about this game until release.
And probably for a while after that as well.
First thing I'm gonna do is check if Shigeru Miyamoto and John Carmack are hero characters, though Ken Levine is more likely since he's 2K.

It's no Fable: The Journey, but I think your still like it!
I've never played an X-Com (though I own a ton of them from a Steam sale), but I can tell this is totally up my alley.
I've been seeing some disconcerting things about the pc version of this game. Stuff like seeing the tops of buildings even though there are no textures up there because the xbox version doesn't zoom out as far as the pc version. Seems to imply that it's a console port.
I forgot to mention: Look at China when they show the country threat levels. Near empty. I think we all know what that means: Proof that China is experiencing a deficit in caring.
