Looking forward to this game

Please don't suck.
PLEASE. :(
I have heard some worrying things about this game in recent days.
I really liked the music for the trailer, hopefully the game's soundtrack will live up to it's predecessors even without Jesper Kyd.
Heres to hoping the PC version isn't shit. If it is then I guess I can shell out more cash for the ps3 version

like??/....
@wchue: The PC Gamer review seems to be slamming the game, could just be the PC port. i've read in the PC Gamer forums that if you play it on normal it's terrible and long time fans are told to play it on the expert difficulty.
So really there's no telling.
@Sin4profit: aw ic ic thank you for the reply
sorry to hear the PC crowd will have problems
pretty pumped for the game it will be my first hitman game i feel this will be better than ac3 i was really disappointed with ac3 but loved ac3:L
Huh....
Didn't really care that much about this game.
Now I kinda do.
Goodjob marketing department.
I really hope this game is good. It's caught my interest but I know that Ryan Davis and other people said that they've been hearing some negative things about, so now I'm not so sure.
It's $29.25 at GMG with this code GMG35-FGR37-COY0B. Think i'll wait for reviews though.
@konig_kei: Yeah, I saw that deal too - it's good until the 23rd, so I'm definitely going to wait until I see a few reviews.
Im not sure whether to preorder this or not, its only $5 off on steam, But if I pay 8 dollars more right now I can get the deluxe edition.
People are also saying that they have heard bad things about this game, but they haven't actually cited any sources, except for the internet.
Also Persona 4 Gold comes out that day.
Hmmm not so sure about this since it's announcement, have the PC version pre-ordered, to be fair I did it slightly drunk on amazon about 4 months ago. I could cancel, but god dammit I'm a man of conviction, you make a decision drunk you stick to it.
It's a dam good trailer, that's for sure. I'll probably pick this up next steam sale, I do love my Hitman.

Actually the PC Gamer review was literally a load of horseshit. The review actually made up a bunch of false stuff about the game and used that stuff to say bad things about it. Several other people who also played the game have said that most of the things said in that review are complete horseshit aren't even like that in the game.
This is one of the 2 games I've actually been looking forward to. I hope it's good. I hope someone on the GB crew reviews it.

Good news they are, the bad news, its Alex.
I guess I shouldn't say that definitively that's bad for me, because I haven't got a read on Alex like I do on the other Bomb members, so I don't know whether to rely on his reviews.
@simkas: literally? As in they just had a page in PC Gamer that said "Hitman: Absolution Review" and they just smeared real horse shit on that page? damn, that is harsh.
I've only read a few blurbs for the review and i have not played the game so i can't say what's true or false. The Kotaku Q&A with the game's director seemed to suggest the game held a lot of it's expected mechanics ( experimental ways to kill targets, higher scores for being more stealthy ) which counter what i could get out of the PC Gamer review.
Anyway, like i said, it's best to just wait and see when more reviews get released. Eidos has been weird in the past with how they will allow reviews to pass and there seems to be a lot of conflicting information and variability as to how one would judge this game so there's no telling.
...I remember back when Kane & Lynch seemed pretty exciting.
I'm so excited for this. Blood Money was awesome so I'm hoping they haven't screwed this up.

You can't claim that as truth. There are barely any reviews out and you haven't played it yourself. The PC version could be mediocre for all we know, although I hope it isn't.

As someone who loves Hitman and plays it on PC this makes me very sad. I am also sad in seeing this trending progression of "If you're not new to the game Normal is a cakewalk." Why is Normal difficulty turning into what Easy used to be?
@Hungry: It's always been my philosophy with stealth games to play them on the hardest difficulty anyway so that wouldn't have been a problem for me.
what's with all this pc talk, it's sponsored by amd, it supports eyefinity & i assume nv surround since it's basically the same thing (support-wise, putting hud on middle monitor, etc)
i played it in person at the amd event a few weeks ago, but i sucked with the xbox controller & died fast
i expect it to run fine, look good, have some options... just like sleeping dogs & k&l2 (sorta) did
as for difficulty, shouldnt that be across all platforms? some people on pc use controllers, so hard isnt supposed to mean 'pc game' (demons souls for example, not a pc game)
@Victor018:
Presumably, they are trying to imply that 47 is some unknown fighter and the neck snapping is just the fight getting out of hand. So it would be like an accident kill or something. Maybe that kill should not have been the SA rating, but I don't think its crazy, more of just a comical SA situation.
With that said though, I would be unhappy if that type of qte stuff was the focus of the game. But I've seen a bunch of walkthrough stuff, and its basically the old hitman but with more direction.
Some levels are just as you would expect, some are less traditional. But overall, I expect it will still be an enjoyable Hitman game.
