Just finished the main game today and this looks great. Man....I cant believe it took me this long to get round to playing Sleeping Dogs! GOD DAMN its a great game.
i finished it yesterday. if you guys liked the fight club activities, this'll be right up your alley as that's pretty much what it is but a little more stylized. nothing more apart from some fights activities, a new, small island and some statues to collect that give you some extra melee attacks.
also, all of the hit sounds are replaced with 70s kung fu punch sfx so everything is 100x better
Sleeping Dogs DLC is the best kind of DLC. Completely standalone, relatively cheap, and just a good way to get you back into the game if you haven't played it for a while.
Sad thing is if this is what the game was originally, I would probably have bought it on day one. Now that it's DLC (and pretty much a total conversion?) for a game I don't own, I'm tempted just to wait for a GOTY edition.
The only thing this DLC needed was for that George character to have a wicked afro to look a little more like Black Belt Jones / Jim Kelly, and it'd be set.
I'm really hoping this is a full fledged dlc to sleeping dogs and not some stupid battle arena type shit. Either way kudos to the person who cut and edited these advertisements for the dlcs been highly impressed with the halloween one and this one.
I've been casually interested in the game since it came out and it's increasingly grown since seeing it pop up so regularly on this site, but man, this is definitely pushing me towards finally getting it. As somebody who went on a bit of a Bruce Lee movie marathon a few years ago, I couldn't be more stupidly happy to relive that in a game like this.
