Does a windows 8.1 machine with a Intel i5 at 2.5ghz with a Intel hd 4000 and 4gb of ram have a chance in hell at running this at 720p at just under 30fps?

I know I might be dreaming on this one.

Not if a GTX Titan/780 ti can't run it at 60 with console quality textures you can't.

Definitely not, this game runs terribly on even high end systems. Don't even bother.

The Intel HD 4000 is a very common video card due to its price and support but it is not powerful relative to competition offerings.

Nope. I have the same thing and it doesn't run pretty much any new games. It's a mid-late 2012 card, and integrated at that, so it's not going to run a lot of newer games. It does run some though! Diablo 3 runs wonderfully on it.

@extomar: with 720p settings I did manage to get tomb raider (no hair effecteffect of cource) running quite nicely. So I was hoping that DR3 would some how run, I know better to not just buy it with that video card. Just was hoping for some kind of miracle i guess.
