I was looking through the Cod4 page and noticed this additional page for the DS version. This should be deleted and a section written up about the DS version in the main CoD4 page.

Actually, if I remember correctly, portable versions of other games get their own sections if they're different enough. I'm guessing it's different enough, in this case.

It is a game of it's own, it just shares the same title as another.
That said, I really don't think we need a page for Reflex Edition, and I'm not just saying this because it's an awfully written page that I just had to do some editing of the controversy section for because the entire thing was one disgusting weasel-worded section about how Infinity Ward and Activision are shitty companies who screwed over poor Treyarch and their two-year-old port of Modern Warfare.

Who are the people out there going
"Man fuck Call of Duty on my console, all the hardcore Cod fans play the DS version, am i right?
If anyone brings the DS version of Call of Duty 4 to the Call of Duty XP convention, I will be shocked. Even the hipsters who are attending ironically will stay away from that game!

Having never played the game I can't tell if it is significantly different or not. I looked at the Wikipedia article for it and it did not seem that different in terms of the plot (You are doing some minor side missions that do not tie into the overall plot.) Activision also titled it identically to the main series game making it seem like a port. If someone who knows more about the plot of the game wants to correct me I am fine with that...
I borrowed it from a friend, beat the campaign and played a bit of multiplayer, yet, you probably know more about what happened than I do! I can't recall any specific details, but it was definitely different from the main Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare plot line. At most, you visited similar locations to the console version. I doubt there was any major connection between the two.
I do remember there being a few vehicle sequences where you are on a mounted gun (one where the driver pulls you into a barn and you have to escape by alleyway?) and the fact that you could set multiplayer to be RPGs only, which made it reasonably ridiculous.
I am wondering if a compromise could be reached where it is put up as one of the wiki tasks or something like that. Having read a little bit more about the game I do think it deserves its own page, but as of now if barely has a blurb on it. Even if the game deserves a page I don't think Giant Bomb wants crappy pages or ones with no content in it. Just my two cents.
P.S. Either that or change the title to Cod4 DS so that way there is less confusion on the matter.
@DemonGeese: I wish they'd give us something like Screened's search has where they display the year of the film's release. If we could put basic platform info that space instead of just "GAME," that would be way more useful.
Adding it as a wiki task would be smart, but is also almost guaranteed not to happen unfortunately.

Putting this up as a "Fill Me In" Wiki Task would be perfect, maybe we should PM a mod about getting it added (but not everyone at the same time!) Actually, is there a better way to get it up as a Wiki Task? I'm really not sure what the process is for that, if there even is one.

This would be a great feature to add. Search results listing as "DS GAME" or "PS2 GAME" would be very helpful, though for consoles with longer names it becomes trickier. Thinking about it, there is also an issue of displaying info for games that appear on multiple platforms. Not sure what the Top Men are currently cooking up in the engineering dungeon, but it's worth asking about.
