I'm requesting that the concept page for "Guilty Pleasure" be deleted. Giant Bomb's database is intended to be an encyclopedia, after all.
Everything else can be neutrally confirmed or denied. Resident Evil 5 belongs on the chainsaw object page because there are chainsaws in it. Super Metroid belongs on the female protagonist concept page because the main character is a woman. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass should not go on the Tingle character page, because that character is not in it.
Regardless of your opinion of a game, these facts remain the same. Whether a game is a guilty pleasure or not, on the other hand, is entirely subjective. I know a guy who finds Halo a guilty pleasure because he associates it with mindless frat boys. I on the other hand, do not. Another friend of mine finds simple puzzle games like Bejeweled or TextTwist to be guilty pleasures because he thinks they make him less hardcore somehow. Once again, I do not think of them that way. Personally? I find the Pokémon games to be guilty pleasures because they are technically intended for children. But many people would disagree with that. And that is my point.
Basically, any game can be added to that page because any game could be a guilty pleasure to someone out there. I request that the page be deleted before it becomes a master list of all the titles in the database.
Delete: Guilty Pleasure

I have to agree. Any game could have a guilty pleasure. A game that I thought of buying that could go under that page is Super Princess Peach. Thought of getting it because I love the Mario games and heard good things about it but, it is mainly targeted towards Girls/Women and could be considered a guilty pleasure.
"Shouldn't Wikimods be able to delete pages? Me thinks so."Most of the wiki mods were brought in from the community to deal with the huge backlog of submissions when the site launched. Thus, the staffers don't know them personally, and didn't want to give the ability to delete pages to people who they didn't know. They could have been anyone, and could have caused mayhem.
Now that the initial rush is long over, and the site is running fine, and the mods have proven themselves, the wiki mods could use deletion powers. It would make things so much easier.

Unfortunately, they're the only ones who can delete.
