How is SummerSlam a Concept?

I don't understand how SummerSlam is a video game concept. That's like saying the Superbowl is a a concept, or the World Series is a concept...I don't think that it's really a concept.

EDIT: Also noticed there is a Wrestlemania page as well.

What else would you categorize it under?

its just an event so to say in games, or more accurately in those games - just another stage...don't think it should be under anything.

Yeah, I agree Kush. "Summerslam" isn't a game concept. It's just an event that happens in games, nothing special about it that makes the whole game different. My guess is that Summerslam should be under multi-stages or something.

It's an Event, not a concept. It should be removed.

Well in-game Events are concepts, since there is no event category, and the concept category is just an "everything else" category. Whether its notable enough to have its own page is debatable though.

I suppose if  the games themselves mention a SummerSlam in them, it's a valid concept. Just like Super Bowl could be a valid concept, for some football video games have a Super Bowl and some don't and someone could be interested. I just find it kind of point farmingesque that in the description someone listed all the real life SummerSlams from 1988, and even gave attendance - it's really not relevant to the video games.

The staff has already said concepts should act as a 'catch all' for the time being. If not that, then what? Excluding it completely doesn't work. As MattyFTM said, It's included in wrestling games. The only problem I see with this is that the article written fails to acknowledge it's presence in games, and instead focuses completely on the 'real life' happenings.

Concept pages are designed to be catch-alls in cases where something might not fit perfectly in another category.
