Plagerism?

I came across some character pages on Giant Bomb that are almost exactly like character pages on Comic Vine.  It may be the same user, but they are getting a large sum of points for just copy and pasting information if it is just someone ripping off other people's work.

Interesting. Well if people are copy pasta just for the sole purpose of gaining points then that's a shame.

I did a search for Deathswitch, and found a post in the Moderator Hangout (which should not be showing up in the search results for us normal users). He has indeed been copying content from Comic Vine, and he has been banned from the wiki.

Indeed, this is not tolerated on GiantBomb. Whenever you see this or suspect someone of plagiarizing, be sure to contact a moderator or staff person.

Even though we're sister sites, we don't want or really need it.  As mentioned elsewhere, comic book Wolverine's history may not be the same as video game Wolverine's.  The best thing to do would be something like "For more on __________, go to www.comicvine.com/_________"  Linking is good (and also gives points).  Copying is bad.
