Hey everyone,
If you simply want a page spelled correctly and have it passed through quickly, post in here and I'll get on it!
Put your request to change a misspelled page here!

" I noticed a few pages have names that should be changed, such as "Missle Pod" which is just plain spelled incorrectly, and "Carbine" which should really be called "Covenant Carbine" because that's a more specific name, plus they call it that in Halo 2. I tried to put in my comment to the Moderator that it should be changed but I don't know if they'll get that message and be able to do anything about it. If someone could help me out that would be awesome."
you can thank spikedelight for that one :)
Hey everybody. I found a few misspelled pages in my travels. Here's the ones I can remember:
- Missle Pod (Should be changed to Missile Pod)
- Plasma Rifle. (Has a period at the end and should be changed to Plasma Rifle)
- Carbine (Isn't misspelled but since it's referring to the Halo 3 weapon and would be confused with the class of real-life weapon it should be changed to Covenant Carbine, since that's what they call it in Halo 2 anyway)
Thanks so much pyromaniac and daniel for making this happen (and so fast, too!) I'll be sure to update this page with more when I find them.
Oh, it seems that you had changed those pages before I could type them and press Submit. But there's still one that I hadn't posted in the other thread:
- Plasma Rifle. (Has a period at the end and should be changed to Plasma Rifle)
Cheers!
"Go Go Break Steady" should be be "Go! Go! Break Steady." That was actually my screw up, so it would be nice to see it fixed.
Here's another Halo 3 related one:
- Fragmentation Grenade should either have its name changed to "M9 Fragmentation Grenade" so as to show that the page is dedicated to the Halo 3 weapon (as it clearly is) or should be expanded to include all types of Frag Grenades, not just UNSC ones.
NBA Jam 2000 needs to be properly capitalized
http://www.giantbomb.com/nba-jam-2000/61-22242/
also I don't know if this applies to complete name changes, but AKI Corporation is now known as syn Sophia, Inc.
http://www.giantbomb.com/aki-corporation/65-707/
I made a thread about that so if it doesn't apply here, you'll get to it eventually.
almost forgot about Android 18
http://www.giantbomb.com/andriod-18/94-2673/
android is misspelled "andriod"
Happy Happy village -> Happy Happy Village
oil slick -> Oil Slick
Emmitt Smith Football SNES -> Emmitt Smith Football
How about this:
The Takahashi Meijinpage states that Takahashi Meijin is his full name when in fact his full name is Toshiyuki Takahashi, while Takahashi Meijin is just his nick name.
Is this just a minor thing or should his full name be added elsewhere ( just wondering in case you guys have to remake the entire page or something ).
"Why should Fragmentation Grenade be limited to Halo? If it's left as an article for frag grenades in any game, I could come up with an article that's not specific to any particular game."
Well the page M9 Fragmentation Grenade is now specific to Halo games, but if you made a page called just Frag Grenade or Fragmentation Grenade you could make it about the regular kind.
"Fragmentation grenade kind of seems in the territory of a regular grenade, which we already have a page of. I would just say delete the halo grenade page and link it to regular grenade page."No because that's like saying you should delete the page for MA5C Assault Rifle and link it to a normal 2008 Assault Rifle's page. I don't think they should be merged.
"Joker said:I am going to have to agree with Spike, we need to have a certain amount of...diversity."Fragmentation grenade kind of seems in the territory of a regular grenade, which we already have a page of. "SpikeDelight said:Diversity comes to me in articles, not pages. But this is all up for debate, and everyone has an opinion."Joker said:I am going to have to agree with Spike, we need to have a certain amount of...diversity.""Fragmentation grenade kind of seems in the territory of a regular grenade, which we already have a page of. "pyromaniac said:Well if the "concept" grass and Dildo deserve their own page we might as well throw in a page for this."SpikeDelight said:Diversity comes to me in articles, not pages. Back on track here, the page for Covenant Loyalists has a period after it and that should be removed from the page's name.
I'm an idiot, and mispelled two games that got accepted.
http://www.giantbomb.com/ranma-12-datou-genso-musabetsu-kakutou-ryuu/61-23369/
Currently: Ranma 1/2 Datou, Genso Musabetsu Kakutou-Ryuu!
Should be: Ranma 1/2 Datou, Ganso Musabetsu Kakutou-Ryuu!
(there's an a instead of an e in Ganso)
and

Currently: Ranma 1/2 Kakutou Mundou!!
Should be: Ranma 1/2 Kakugeki Mundou!!
(kakutou should be kakugeki)
The release pages on both I've submitted have the correct spellings, etc.
The page for FFIX character Steiner is misspelled. It's listed as "Aldebert Steiner", but should actually be "Adelbert Steiner".
Here's the link. Thanks in advance.
Soul Caliber IV is mispelled as Soulcaliber IV.

"collette brunel should be colette brunel, there is also 2 onnet"Colette was taken care of awhile ago.
Star fox command --> StarFox Command
http://www.giantbomb.com/star-fox-command/61-498/
Bonus points for making this image the boxart.
Mad World should be Madworld
The game Pigs in Space starring Miss Piggy should actually just be called "Pigs in Space". While it does say "starring Miss Piggy" on the box cover, it's not actually part of the game's official title.
So just correct the game title to "Pigs in Space" and we're good to go... thanks.
Shoot the Bullet should be renamed to Touhou 9.5 - Shoot the Bullet.
I forgot that this character had a last name when I created her page:
http://www.giantbomb.com/heather/94-6868/
Full name: Heather Poe
change to: Butz Klauser
"http://www.giantbomb.com/bartz-klauser/94-1135/Actually, Wikipedia says this:
change to: Butz Klauser
"
In the original 1992 release of the game, the official Japanese guides romanized his name as Butz. In the Anthology release, much criticized for its translation quality, he was named Bartz. The Advance release saw significant improvement in the translation and a restoration of many of the 1992 romanizations, but the character's name remained Bartz for unknown reasons. Common speculation is that he was renamed in all official English localizations because "Butz" is a homophone of "butts". Bartz can be renamed if the player so chooses, but the other characters cannot.
Assuming this is true, he was called Bartz in Final Fantasy Anthology and Final Fantasy V Advance.
In that case, the page should stay as Bartz Klauser, and Butz Klauser should be added as an alias.
Not really a spelling error, but I think America should be changed to United States, as America could also refer to anywhere on North/South America.
As for spelling errors, virtual intelligence and supernatural arm should be capitalized.
