Request a fix for IMAGES & BOX ART issues here!

The Lost Vikings Mega Drive cover needs to be deleted as it has a watermark. I made sure to mark it.

@bobafettjm: Gotcha. I checked to see if the image was used in the releases, but I think we're in the clear.

No BS, Lost Vikings is on my schedule this month (well, the SNES version specifically, but I'll be correcting other parts of the page where needed too).

Got two more to be deleted. There are both the front and back cover pictures for Daedalian Opus that need to be deleted. They both have a watermark and I marked them both with DELETE.

@objectivecaio: I have been noticing this happening more and more. For whatever reason some images just seem to not show up when made the default. For instance if it is changed to the image with the Xbox One across the top it works fine, but the cropped one does not.

Edited this long time ago (my first edit), messed up but it got approved anyway, tried to fix it but couldn't, so left it then. Anyway now came across it again, and the problem is that there are 3 sets of duplicate images. There are 7 images, all tripled, so 21 total. The 14 duplicates should be deleted.

Tthis image could be made the box art of the game like for many other DOS games here, which is simply the "start screen" of the game. I can't do it myself though.

@3yogamer: Duplicates are deleted. That start screen needs to be added to the page's image gallery before it can be used as the default image.

The wiki generally uses US box arts if the game had a US release. I uploaded a watermark-free version of the US box and used that instead.

Done up to here. The deletion requests anyway; another user handled the default images.

@wholefunshow: RoboCop 3 was my bad. I worked on the page only recently and even went into detail about the differences between the console and home computer versions. Should've zapped those images then. I made sure to replace the header image too.

i dont know if this is the right place for it but i would like to change this main box art for this one, if any one would do it that would be great.

then follow the guidelines please and upload that box art into the game's gallery.

I notice an imperfection in each games respective sequel, the amiga release for Psygnosis Barbarian 2 (link) has the boxart for Palace Barbarian 2/Axe of Rage (alias request already in BTW) but it's outside the usual Image system, should I save/reupload? It doesn't need a request to delete it but I can't bring myself to do it until I see it in right place.

About that release's image: Someone uploaded the one that's currently there without adding it to the page's image gallery first, so it's not connected to the page in any way. It's safe to replace it with the correct one. Shouldn't be too hard to find that box art image again if you wanted to upload it to its correct page (GameFAQs is a good resource for watermark-free box art images, I've found).

@shockinggus: The image has been processed through the image moderation queue and is now the default for that page.

For the record, regular users should be able to moderate/process items in the image queue (well, excepting the images that you yourself uploaded). If that system is on the blink someone needs to log a bug report because the mods don't usually ever check the thing.
