The Lost Vikings Mega Drive cover needs to be deleted as it has a watermark. I made sure to mark it.
@bobafettjm: Gotcha. I checked to see if the image was used in the releases, but I think we're in the clear.
No BS, Lost Vikings is on my schedule this month (well, the SNES version specifically, but I'll be correcting other parts of the page where needed too).
I got a few that either need a box art image or I think could use a better one, so can you please take care of them:
Got two more to be deleted. There are both the front and back cover pictures for Daedalian Opus that need to be deleted. They both have a watermark and I marked them both with DELETE.
Got another one. There is a really low quality cover that needs to be deleted in the Hammerin' Harry: Ghost Building Company image gallery.
The box art for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is not being displayed correctly on the wiki:
@objectivecaio: I have been noticing this happening more and more. For whatever reason some images just seem to not show up when made the default. For instance if it is changed to the image with the Xbox One across the top it works fine, but the cropped one does not.
And of course today they're releasing full-rez shots of the ones I uploaded yesterday ...
so please delete all pics in this DELETE gallery: http://www.giantbomb.com/hyrule-warriors-working-title/3030-44782/images/?tag=Delete
please delete all images from this "delete" gallery. they've been replaced with higher quality versions
delete the marked image please. page was a dupe but turning it into the sequel's page now.
oh god, please delete these two images ...I totally missed how gigantic these files are. sorry!
also delete the marked blurry logo here http://www.giantbomb.com/captain-toad-treasure-tracker/3030-46581/images/?tag=delete
and this. http://www.giantbomb.com/mario-party-10/3030-46586/images/?tag=delete that belongs to another game and has no business there.
Edited this long time ago (my first edit), messed up but it got approved anyway, tried to fix it but couldn't, so left it then. Anyway now came across it again, and the problem is that there are 3 sets of duplicate images. There are 7 images, all tripled, so 21 total. The 14 duplicates should be deleted.
Tthis image could be made the box art of the game like for many other DOS games here, which is simply the "start screen" of the game. I can't do it myself though.
I should have taken care of this a while ago but better late than never. Delete this extra box art with a watermark. http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-2598046 this is from http://www.giantbomb.com/motteke-tamago-ganbare-kamonohashi/3030-45319/images/
Please change the default image for this game: http://www.giantbomb.com/confidential-money/3030-39068/
To this: http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-2617583
And since that image is better quality please delete this image: http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-2270800
Change default image to box art on this page (whatever you think is best): http://www.giantbomb.com/princess-arthur/3030-41255/images/
please kill all the images in the delete gallery here: http://www.giantbomb.com/hyrule-warriors/3030-44782/images/?tag=delete
found higher resolution versions and upped them into the screens gallery
This image could be made the box art of the game like for many other DOS games here, which is simply the "start screen" of the game. I can't do it myself though. It's added to the gallery, it's the latest screenshot there.
I boned up again. Please delete everything marked Delete.
I added this picture: http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-2665627 to The Witch's House, but after uploading it I realized that there is some white I forgot to cover. I re-edited it so that now that part of the image is black like it should be. Please delete this picture and I will upload the correct one. Sorry. >.<
The PC War of the Worlds has had a moby games water marked default image for ages after the image was deleted from gallery, I uploaded this to replace it at the time but assumed that would suffice and I wasn't curious enough to find this thread then http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-1383057.
Robocop 3 and Robocop 3D started off as same entry (both are technically called Robocop 3) and there's a bunch of Robocop 3D screenshots in the Robocop 3, I've moved them all across to new folders in 3D so the following in 3 can and should be deleted
The wiki generally uses US box arts if the game had a US release. I uploaded a watermark-free version of the US box and used that instead.
Done up to here. The deletion requests anyway; another user handled the default images.
@wholefunshow: RoboCop 3 was my bad. I worked on the page only recently and even went into detail about the differences between the console and home computer versions. Should've zapped those images then. I made sure to replace the header image too.
Psygnosis Barbarian has a Palace Barbarian/Death Sword box art, I've moved it to right place so this (copy at Psygnosis Barbarian) should be deleted: http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-2420649. Oh, also I see what looks like US boxart for Death Sword which would be favourable to title screen looking screenshot on front page, is this right thread to request this for front page pic? http://www.giantbomb.com/images/1300-853342
I notice an imperfection in each games respective sequel, the amiga release for Psygnosis Barbarian 2 (link) has the boxart for Palace Barbarian 2/Axe of Rage (alias request already in BTW) but it's outside the usual Image system, should I save/reupload? It doesn't need a request to delete it but I can't bring myself to do it until I see it in right place.
@wholefunshow: Deleted the first one.
About that release's image: Someone uploaded the one that's currently there without adding it to the page's image gallery first, so it's not connected to the page in any way. It's safe to replace it with the correct one. Shouldn't be too hard to find that box art image again if you wanted to upload it to its correct page (GameFAQs is a good resource for watermark-free box art images, I've found).
@shockinggus: The image has been processed through the image moderation queue and is now the default for that page.
For the record, regular users should be able to moderate/process items in the image queue (well, excepting the images that you yourself uploaded). If that system is on the blink someone needs to log a bug report because the mods don't usually ever check the thing.
