Alias: The Darkness II -> The Darkness 2
The alias "Darkness 2" already exists, but only "The Darkness 2" is necessary.

(alias) Kimi ga Nozomu Eien -> Rumbling Hearts (console port title, official English anime title)
The name of the game in the DB Galaxian 30th Collection is incorrect. The game is actually called Galaga 30th Collection.
Self-Destruct should have its title changed to Self Destructing Character so people don't confuse it with Self Destruct Sequence.
Also, my request to add Anal Sex as an alias for Sex still stands.
For Sequel is in a Different Genre delete the alias "Different Genre Spinoff". There is already a whole Spin-Off page that includes games in different genres, and it would be good to discourage overlap.
Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd --> Sengoku Musou Chronicle 2nd
Dynasty Warriors VS --> Shin Sangoku Musou VS
Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends --> Sengoku Musou 3: Moushouden
Samurai Warriors 3Z --> Sengoku Musou 3Z (with Sengoku Musou 3Z Special as an alias)
None of these games were released outside of Japan, so there is no telling what their actual English titles would have been/would be. In either case, it's not great to have an incorrect title as the main one, even if it is listed as an alias for some of these.
Victor Musical Industries, Inc. should be renamed to Victor Entertainment which it is now named.
Alias:
Fightin' Spirit -> Perpetual Craze
Pilots Brothers: On the Track of Striped Elephant > Pilot Brothers: On the Track of Striped Elephant
It's pilot not pilots.
Curiosity: What's Inside the Cube? should be Curiosity – what’s inside the cube
according to 22Cans, the developers of the game, at multiple sources including their official website and their YouTube.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 -> Kidou Senshi Gundam 00.
It's only been released in Japan.
@sodacat: I found one of those: SD Mobile Suit Gundam: V Sakusen Shidou. Should be "SD Kidou Senshi Gundam: V Sakusen Shidou" for the same reason.
While I'm here, some more SNES/SuFami stuff:
Aliases (reason for alias in parentheses):
Rename:
There's something else, and perhaps this needs its own thread or to be added to that general wiki bug reporting thread: The search engine doesn't recognize ampersand (&) characters as the word "and". If you search for "pocky and rocky", for instance, the search engine doesn't return anything because the title of the page in question uses an ampersand. So what is the proper procedure here: Manually change all the page titles with ampersands to "and"s (despite the fact that the game's box/title screen uses an ampersand); add the version with "and" in it as an alias; or put "recognize ampersands as 'and's" on the list of search engine code fixes and let the engineers deal with it?
Currently I've found: Pocky & Rocky, Pocky & Rocky 2, Pocky & Rocky with Becky, Pocky & Rocky (franchise page) and Dig & Spike Volleyball.
Alias:
Tokichiro Kinoshita for Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Rename:
Rain Qin for Rain Quinn.
Rename: Conception II: Shichisei no Michibiki to Mazuru no Akumu is being localized by Atlus with the title Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars.
(rename) Doki-Doki Universe (working title) -> Doki-Doki Universe
Rename: Aeteno Blade -> AeternoBlade (final release name)
add alias:
Time Avenger (JP name)
Aeteno Blade (not a typo, this was what it was originally called)
Aeterno Blade (press materials and logo are slightly inconsistent so both versions with the space and without should be included)
Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm Revolution was just confirmed for western release as Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, so that should be renamed the latter, with the previous name as an alias.
Rename Bravely Default: Flying Fairy -> Bravely Default
It's gonna be called that in NA
Actually scratch that, I see now that it has its own page. That works too since it's technically a different, enhanced game
Alias: Big Scar Wu -> Smiley Cat
Project Eternity is now called Pillars of Eternity. Rename and move old name to alias please.
Rename: Quell Memento -> Quell: Memento
Quell Reflect -> Quell: Reflect
I just created that last page before noticing the obvious colon in the logo...oops.
Alias: Trail of Death ->
Trail of Fire
Trail of Flame
Trail of Ice
"Team Garry" the studio behind Garry's Mod and Rust are listed as Facepunch Studios on Steam now.
http://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Facepunch%20Studios
Rename and add an alias please.
www.giantbomb.com/toro/3055-6065/ should have an alias of toro.
(rename) Badman G -> Yu-Nama: The Puzzle G (proper Japanese title, the former was a "translated" one invented by a news site)
(rename) Digimon Story -> Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (full title)
Rekoil -> Rekoil: Liberator. The game just got a name change.
Rename Dysfunctional Systems -> Dysfunctional Systems: Learning to Manage Chaos. It's called the first episode, but it's not episodic in the way walking dead is (in that episode 2 will be longer and a seperate purchase)
Just as the character named "Sonic" is listed under the full, official title "Sonic the Hedgehog", the character "Tails" should be listed under his official name, which is consistently given by Sega as "Miles "Tails" Prower", middle quotes included. It would still come up for searches for "Tails", and site policy is to list characters under their full names when possible. Thanks. :-)
To be clearer:
Tails -rename-> Miles "Tails" Prower
Super Ubie Land has gotten its third and final name change to Super Ubie Island. (rename, move old name to alias, please)
Super Ubie Island is the final name of the game! Adding letters all over this title haha pic.twitter.com/rfWYHBwxw9

----------
Jissha de Chibi Robo! is called Chibi Robo! Photo Finder for the English release. Please move current name to aliases.
And the Hyrule Warriors page needs the (working title) suffix as well as the Zelda Musou alias added (Japanese title).
Obviously, NES Remix needs the Famicom Remix alias added.
Dr. Luigi needs the Dr. Luigi & Saikin Bokumetsu alias.
Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land needs Bokujō Monogatari: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi and Bokujou Monogatari: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi alias.
Layton Kyouju VS Gyakuten Saiban Rename to Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney with the old name as an alias.
#ProfessorLayton vs. #PhoenixWright: Ace Attorney for Nintendo #3DS comes to Europe in early 2014. Watch the trailer: http://t.co/rtDJFleYVI
— Nintendo of Europe (@NintendoEurope) August 7, 2013
Rename: Blockland Retail -> Blockland
Digimon Story for Vita now has a subtitle (Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth). Please change the page name to the new one listed in parenthesis
Can we add the alias "Star Kid" to "The Catalyst"?
Zangeki no Reginleiv -> aliases:
Dynamic Zan
Dynamic Slash
(was originally announced as this)
Add General Zod's alias Dru-Zod, because of the movie Man of Steel, I'd find that he is a total badass.
Mystical Ninja starring Goemon has an alias that belongs to a completely different Goemon game. The correct Japanese name alias should be "Ganbare Goemon: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori"
AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAa!!! for the Awesome should be renamed to AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome
(Note the extra five As in the end.)
This is the official amount of As that the title has, which is also the same amount the previous game had.
http://www.giantbomb.com/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-for-the-awesome/3030-36987/
You da man, Marino.
Adventure Island II
is listed as
Adventure Island II: Aliens in Paradise
. However, that is actually a subtitle only applicable for a Game Boy title for that name, which is actually Adventure Island 3.
I know, it's confusing.
So the NES game Adventure Island II (and its alias Adventure Island 2) should lose the subtitle. It might be worth adding the Japanese title: "The Adventure Island Part II: Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima II" as an alias. If you really want to, add the Game Boy version's title of just "Adventure Island" as well, but that's going to come up in search regardless.
Adventure Island 3 can get Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima III as an alias, as well as the US Game Boy title of Adventure Island II: Aliens in Paradise.
Finally, there is no Adventure Island IV as it never released outside of Japan (not even on Virtual Console or anything like that yet), so that should be an alias to assist in locating the item, and the main title should be Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima IV.
EDIT: Oooooone more thing! Hudson Selection Volume 4: Adventure Island should be Hudson Selection Vol. 4: Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima, because again, this is a title that never released outside of Japan and thus doesn't have a western title.
Rename: Selective invincibility -> Selective Invincibility
Please rename Smile-Jab to Smile-Lab. I misread the name when I created the entry.
The SimTower franchise page should have the alias of The Tower which is the Japanese name for the series.
Also the game Astérix & Obélix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum should have the alias' Astérix & Obélix XXL 2: Mission: Wifix and Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Wifix.
Astérix & Obélix XXL 2: Mission: Wifix is the name of the PSP and Nintendo DS ports which are essentially the same game.
(rename) Monster Monpiece -> Genkai Totsuki Monster Monpiece (Full name)
(alias) Revolution -> Netrevo (older name)
Please delete the Senjo no Valkyria 3 EXTRA EDITION page since it is just a "Game of the Year" type release of the original Senjo no Valkyria 3 not a new game.
Mr. Driller should be Susumu Hori; that's the name that he goes by in all of the Mr. Driller games.
