Wiki pages are getting stupid.

Boots, sneakers, running shoes - delete or combine with Shoes. 
Really, the only shoe I can think of that deserves a wiki-page is the one from Super Mario Bros. 3

I can understand running shoes, because I believe there was a specific item in one of the pokemon games called running shoes, but even then, that page isn't about the pokemon item, but about any form of shoe that can be used for running.

Perhaps a limit on how many objects/concepts can be added or somehow disabling the ability to add certain objects.

I think they just need to take away the points system altogether.  That would stop ridiculous shit from popping up on the Wiki a lot more.

I just noticed some one added shoes as a concept to mother 3.... yeah humans wear shoes... It are not the concept that are invalid it are the people who add them.
I would rather be obliged to add a comment on how the concept is used in a game when i add a concept, that would discourage people who are going crazy with adding them.

I think shoes should be in there, if they're particularly relevant in any way they should be. For instance, Oblivion's article could have boots, because there are many of them within the game and they have a bearing on gameplay. Sonic should be tied to running shoes, maybe they're not really affecting gameplay, but they're ingrained in the concept and identity of both the game and the character.

I do not think it is stupid , it is not always legit  though

No. The concept/ object should only be there if it were really revelant.Boots in Oblivion isn't. And running shoes shouldn't be in Sonic games, Sonic's Shoes should be in Sonic's games and that would be a little senseless already."

Isn't the whole point of this site though to be super specific?

She doesn't use running shoes or sneakers, from the trailers I saw it seemed clear that she used Jikatabi.

I'll drink to that.... in fact I agree, the points system just makes things get too cluttered to quickly. It's a flurry of edits that bogging pages down with useless information.

Pages can be specific, or cluttered. This is the latter.

Hmm, everyone makes good points. Then again it's hard to define what is relevant and what isn't. Some pages have enormous lists of the minutiae of gameplay, wheras some are missing pretty important elements, such as the Jump concept from Marble Blast Ultra.

Yeah, the shoes that Faith uses aren't really traditional running shoes though, either. When I talked to a guy working on the game at PAX, he brought a guy who was actually a traceur, and he wore these, which are clearly not traditional shoes. And I realize Faith doesn't wear these, but they are similar in that they are very flexible and contain little fabric/ cushioning.

I realize that the mirrors edge is stupid. People probably just wanted points. But running shoes and boots are way different things.
