Don Bradman Cricket coming to new consoles

According to Digital Spy the games getting a PS4 and Xbox One version in February. I hope this means another quick look of the console version. It was one of the best quick looks of 2014.

the game will contain a career mode, 360 shot batting and bowling controls, "realistic" player and ball physics, practice nets, electronic appeals and dynamic weather.

It also contains more than 100,000 community-created players and teams, as well as online saving.

"Following on from the critically acclaimed Don Bradman Cricket 14, we are proud to now bring the greatest cricket player of all time to the next generation of consoles," a spokesperson said.

February is also the Cricket World Cup

I've submitted a new game page request as the Xbox One/PS4 release will just be called "Don Bradman Cricket" rather than "Don Bradman Cricket 2014.

The "new" game will be out current gen consoles this week

it isn't clear yet whether the primary difference is just going to be aesthetic or there will be any changes to gameplay or addition of new modes?

Its up on the XB1 marketplace right now. I was going to give it a shot, but not for $60.

Is Don Bradman Cricket the current gen equivalent of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge?

as much as I'd love to see another QL, it probably wouldn't be worth it because it seems that the only difference to last year's game are the visuals after all.

Oh. All they did was change the visuals and remove the year from the title? Boring. You're right. Probably doesn't merit a QL.

If only someone could release a functional AFL game for GB to QL.

I'm very much looking forward to this. I love a good Cricket game but didn't get around to the PC version; I'd probably rather play with a controller anyway so perhaps I'll end up plumping for this version if it turns out well. Also using this as an excuse to re-post my hot photoshop from the QL.

This game was great, and the single player career was really nicely done, until they just upped the difficulty randomly and I got annoyed and sold it.

Looks like Jonah Lomu's Rugby Challenge on PS3/360 was the last good effort. I was actually hoping Rugby 15 could've been something, given HB studio's history with EA but it just looked like it simplified the mechanics way too much and looked like a phone port. I'm annoyed they went from The Golf Club to that, really.

I've been watching streams via twitch and it is literally exactly the same product presented in exactly the same way with the most minimal visual upgrade. Don Bradman 2014 was on my GOTY list last year and I'm still playing the career mode pretty regularly (9th in world) . The only thing that might get me to switch to this version was if I could transfer my save between platforms (which I don't think can be done)
