What are your top 5 E3 2015 games? E3 for me was full of surprises. It finally looks like next gen has arrived.

Special mention goes to Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I need to see a bit more before I get too excited about it.

4.World of Final Fantasy. (Weirdly excited).

Nothing else really, I was extremely excited about Battlefront but from what they showed this year it kinda looks boring and not what I expected it to be, (a Battlefront game) but we'll see.

No Man's Sky looks interesting but I'm not gonna get hyped about it until I know what it actually is, I'd say I'm more curious than excited.

Sea of thieves looked amazing but, again, I need to "sea" what it actually is, pun intended...

Doom looked like it'd probably be my number 5 as they look to have "nailed it".

Oh shit, Street fighter V, that's my number 3 , Cuphead and World of FF move down!.

What a great E3, it's gonna be an expensive winter.

Another thing, I should be excited for DarkSouls III but I'm just not...

• Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: I wouldn't call myself a huge MGS fan but I really enjoyed Ground Zeroes and every demo for PP just blows me away.
• Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness: I've never played a Star Ocean game before but the look of this latest entry reminds me so much of the classic PS1 RPGs of old only with a beautiful new presentation. And the development team has been saying all the right things in interviews that I can't help but get excited.
• Rise of the Tomb Raider: The previous Tomb Raider was a great action title and the new game looks to be just as good. I have no plans to buy an Xbox One but whenever the system exclusivity ends I'll be picking this game up.
• Fire Emblem Fates: This game will be out in Japan next week. I just want it. Can not wait to play it. Give it to me faster Nintendo.
• Uncharted 4: A Thief's End: I am a big fan of the Uncharted games and Naughty Dog really hit it out of the park with their previous title, The Last of Us. Curious to see how they try to one up themselves with this game.

I watched the Horizon demo again after seeing so many people rave about it. I think it looks pretty neat, but it by no means blew me away. Like, I'm not a huge fan of that kind of stealth, and the fight wasn't terribly exciting. On the side of that there's some pretty bad voice acting and the last lines of the demo have me worried that the story's gonna be cookie-cutter. I'll keep an eye open but right now Horizon hasn't grabbed me.

1 - Fallout 4, but frankly, Bethesda could've just shown the logo and it'd still be #1.

2 - Mario Maker. Damn it, Nintendo. You're gonna make me buy a Wii U, aren't you?

3 - Horizon. Definitely the highlight of Sony's press conference.

4 - Sea of Thieves. Between this and Hololens, I have to buy an Xbox too...

5 - South Park: The Fractured, but Whole. Just for the pun.

Fallout 4, Battlefront III, Just Cause 3, and Deus Ex Mankind Divided are all games that I'm likely going to buy around launch day.

I have never finished Final Fantasy VII but I'm very interested in seeing how Square modernizes that game. I want to see if they just make a very pretty version of it or if they go nuts and completely rebuild the game into something that takes into account the past eighteen years of video game changes and improvements.

I am also going to keep my eye on Recore. The game looks pretty cool but, more so than that, the names attached have my full and undivided attention. Keiji Inafune? The guys who made Metroid Prime? You don't even need to show anything, just say that and I'm all in.

I didn't really need to see much more of No Man's Sky, although it's nice to be reminded that it exists and I might perhaps be able to play it someday. I'm still more excited to fly around in space in that game, more than any other, but I'd like a release date.

Side note: One of the things I appreciate most about Bethesda's thing is that they didn't spend a few years teasing Fallout 4. I know that not everyone is in a position to do this, but they only started hyping us up in the same year that they planned on releasing the game, meaning we didn't have to just bottle it up for a few months and then never regain that kind of excitement by the time releases.

My games of show are basically just surprises to me and had really good showings AT e3. I'm obviously super excited for fallout 4, mgs, cuphead, but I felt like going in I knew what to expect so that's why I didn't put it on my list. horizon came totally out of nowhere for me so that's why it's my number 1!

Not in order:

Horizon, as boring as the Killzone games are in gameplay they look great both technically and artistically and I am loving what has been shown of the game so far. Hunting robo dinos as badass cavewoman is an awesome premise.

Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog can do no wrong in my eyes. Have played every game of their's since Crash 1 and loved them all. Also Nolan North and Troy Baker bantering is the most modern video games thing I can think of.

AC Syndicate, for some reason I keep liking these games and this one just seems like an improved version of Unity which seems great to me. I recognize I am only feeding the worst parts of the industry but screw you all I still find it entertaining. I have terrible taste in games too apparently, some of my top games from last year included Driveclub and Destiny.

Street Fighter V, it looks like everything I wanted it to be. Back to basics where fundamentals can win matches. If we have to have a comically fat character I much prefer Birdie over Rufus.

Need For Speed, I've really liked the past few NFS games, and I have been itching for a new racing game that isn't a sim filled with super cars. With the year off it looks like there has been enough time for the game to really go for a clear identity and be something super cheesy and fun which what NFS should be.

Of course I am looking forward to MGSV, Fallout 4, FFVII Remake, etc. But the five above were the things that I was either most worried about and now feel optimistic about or games that came out of nowhere and surprised me.

I really like over the top action games but I also enjoy games where you just walk around exploring and trying to figure out what has happened.
