Can I not turn off the chat on a live stream? - Editing & Tools

Hi,

I'll cut to it. 99% of the time I will never ever want to see the Giant Bomb chat in any live stream ever, but in the new redesign of the website, there's no option to just turn the system off, that isn't just clicking "Following" or "Replies", but that feels lazy. Is there any kind of buzz as to what this is about?

I was just wondering this myself. I'd really like to do that because the chat is distracting

I believe if you press the 'pop out chat' button and then close the new window (or just leave it behind the video window) the chat will be gone.
