Why not just put that in the main information, i.e.: This game is available as an Xbox Original, this game has backwards compatibility on the Xbox 360, this game has software backwards compatibility on ____ PS3s, etc.?

For search purposes, a main information might not help you find say a list of games that are BC.  The concept is confusing because there are games listed, but when you see the list it shows all platforms the game exists on, when it may not be BC on all of those platforms.  Rock Band , for example, is not an Xbox game, but is included I guess because of it's ability to play tracks from Rock Band.  Yet all of it's platforms, including PS2 are listed.
