Loading Doors. Where loading takes place behind a door with a sort of cycling animation.

Ive seen it in all the Dead space games, The first batman game, Red Steel 2, And now in the new aliens game.

Do we have a page for this sort of thing? Where there is no loading screen but just a door that takes time to open

Wouldn't that be like an interactive loading screen?

That seems more like the Dragon Ball Z games where you can grab capsules

I don't believe so. All I can think of though is the Dead Spaces.

Dudes, Max Payne 3 is the prime example of that shit.

Also, this may as well include loading elevators. And there's a lot of those, for instance Mass Effect.

I think the concept goes beyond more than doors and elevators. i.e. the walk 'n' talk sections in Gears of War are clearly masking loading times.

Something like "Disguised Loading" perhaps?

Does the walk N talk hide loading?

Also Mass effect 3 the scanning station in the Normandy.

Note, there is this page already: Elevators That Mask Loading Times

So maybe work around that? Maybe broaden it a bit.

Change the name to just " masked Loading times" Maybe

Also, why is it that Mass Effect 3 shows in "first appearance"? It's treating it as the older game in the list and I don't know why and it's driving me CRAZY!

TV Tropes has lots of information about this on their Dynamic Loading page.
