Since our stuff goes live at 1000 points, do we still need reasons for changing pages? It's still there so i wonder if we need to put it. My points hasn't gone up for some of my edits, so i wonder if you guys still look through them like regular edits in your queue and need some context as to what we do. just curious.
do we need to put a reason in after we get 1000 points?
I can't speak with much authority, since I haven't hit 1000 yet, but I would think they'd like it if you did put something. Can't hurt.
Once you reach that point, any comments you leave will only be seen by people who look at your wiki edit history.
Sometimes you might find it useful to leave reminders for yourself, but it's not necessary.
Here's an example of the one person to leave notes despite having a ton of points. He always leaves a comment when creating a page, and leaves comments for various other things as well.
It's not required, but it makes reading his history much more interesting and makes it clear what kind of stuff he's been doing on the wiki.
I also try to leave occasional comments, but I often forget.
