General Information for a person problem

I was trying to add information for Ashley Wood but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to save my changes without entering a birthday. Unfortunately the only thing listed on his b-day is that he was born in 1971. I had to enter his b-day as 01/01/1971 just to get the other info I had added submitted for moderation. Maybe there should be an option for fuzzy dates or approximations for people too. But more importantly I don't think it's right to not allow any information to be added in that section simply because they don't know the person's birthday. Unless it was just an odd glitch that only happened to me. So if a mod approves the info I added it would help if they erase the b-day date, however, all the other info I added is accurate.
