While I do copy my writing in notepad and save it just in case, on many occasions Giantbomb as crashed on me while writing something. It drives me insane, this usually happens when I'm adding an image or link. It would be simply awesome (on oh so many levels) if Giantbomb featured a text save function. Say you've written quite a lot and try to add an image, for some reason it either takes forever or doesn't load the add image interface correctly and you can't get rid of it.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if you could simply click 'save' at the side of the submit button so it would save your text, layout and even images for if there is a issue or if you wished to return to it at a later date. I'm sure someone else as offered this idea and hopefully we will see a function like that one day. Please make it happen.

Thanks! :D

I agree. This has happened to me enough times already and I'm sure it will happen again. Unless... Dave gets on this ASAP.       :P

Bumping this again as I wrote a good few things that I need to continue on from but since it the work isn't there until it's approved, I can't finish it off until it does. I know you don't need such a function until you're over a 1000 wiki points but that's a little far for some people.

That would be pretty neat, although it would most likely be hard to implement.

A tip for those using Firefox, use the Lazarus Form Recovery add on, it should save it when it crashes. Never really edited anything on here but tried it out just know and it seems to work. Also good for all your other internet places where you write loads of text.

Yeah i think a text save function similiar to the save draft function on blogspot could be useful
