Mod Points?

Back when the image moderation first began, I heard things about mod points. Have they been implemented yet? I haven't seen anything about it.

If you go to Mod Images from the Help tab, you can keep track of your mod points there. So far there is no implication of them with the site yet.

Does anyone have any idea when they are going to be implemented as something other than just a number? Maybe conversion into actual points (at a ratio, of course)?

I don't think they have announced anything yet. Perhaps a mod will inform us."
