Yo!

Since Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will have very different content (wholly different modes, different stages) and will as we now know, release at different points in time, should they each get their separate page? I would say it makes sense. The only thing they will have in common is their character roster, everything else will be different.

What sayeth you?

The problem is that, like Pokemon, the two games are promoted as a single entity.

@beachthunder: Not sure that really holds when they will release months apart.

I agree with this idea. Feature-wise, I feel the two titles are different enough to be seen as two separate entities, just as Pokemon Yellow is separate from Pokemon Red/Blue.

They were until now. Tuesday's Smash Direct changed that. They have become very distinct products.

@def: They're still being marketed as one with features that connect them.

Given that the 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV is rolled into the all-encompassing SSFIV page, I'd say there's precedent for Smash 3DS and Smash WiiU to stay as one page.
