Suggestion: Change Dlc to DLC - Editing & Tools

Just noticed this.

I'm sure it's been pointed out before and there must be some reason for it, but I can't help but notice that it's the only place on the site that DLC is spelled Dlc and it's wreaking havoc on my OCD. Just wondering why it's like this and if it can be fixed.

That's been bothering me since I joined the site. Hopefully it gets fixed in the redesign.

I think that was on purpose. It's Downloadable content, not DownLoadable Content. There's an argument to be made for the C being capitalized, but not the L. I vote to have it changed to "dlc."

Very, very few acronyms make the leap to lower case and become actual words. As far as I'm aware of, they all follow rules for word formation in English (like containing vowels). "Radar" and "laser" come to mind. Also, "download" has for a very long time been shortened to "DL." It's actually the #1 ranked acronym for "DL." Add "content" to that, you get DLC.
