Whats up with all the "-1" Wiki points on users profiles?

I like to sometimes browse through the "top users" tab and I just noticed that tons of people have -1's by their wiki point contributions even though some of them when you click on them have contributions accredited to them.

Pretty sure it only started happening recently.

What I don't understand is all the "-2", that "-34" and those other unusual wiki point figures.

It's a temporary workaround to a problem related to the launch of the new site, this isn't a bug or anything to be worried about.
