I just looked at the page for InFamous serching for a Trophies-list, but there was none. I tried adding one but I could not.

How come there is not a Trophies page on PS3 games when Xbox games have a category for Achievements?

Because Sony don't have an API for giant bomb to pull the trophy data from like Xbox, Steam & WoW.

They plan to implement Sony's API when Sony makes it available for public use.

There seems to be a thread about this every other day. Maybe there should just be a sticky about it in this forum.

Just make a guide trophy list for the time being. From the sounds of it GB is working on the whole Sony API thing.

As others have said, since there's no Sony API, there's no trophy sections. It'll certainly get implemented should Sony release an API for the dudes upstairs to work with though.

Sony needs to make it public already!  lol that's like locking all your trophies in the basement, and never showing them off, making them pointless.

I'm not talking about the API. I know GB is working on this, cant wait for it :)
I just mean a page where all the trophies in a game is categorized. So you can see how many trophies there are and how you can get them.

But talking abut API. I fond thise page: http://www.playfire.com/a/welcome
They seem to be able to pull my trophy information and put it on a gamers card.

I was gonna say it's on the XMB: "Trophy Collection". But after reading the comments that obviously not what you mean. I don't even know what API is.

They can only pull the number of trophies and your 3 recent games, similar to the trophy card from eu playstation.com. It doesn't pull trophy data since those aren't public at all. Everything else on that site is custom made I believe.

@suneku: There's also this

It seems they could pull all of your data in seconds, and it's also laid out in a fashion I have yet to see on most websites. It's very detailed to boot.

To bad about the API, I wonder how long it´s going to take before Sony fixes that.

But if a trophies page can be added manually, how do I do that?
I tried clicking the edit page button, but I could not add a new category.

The achievement's system is not part of the wiki system. They use API's to pull data from servers and track peoples achievements. You cannot manually create an achievement page.

The achievements pages are automatically created using data pulled from Xbox Live API. No human intervention is required aside from making sure they're attached to the correct game. You don't "create" or "edit" achievement listings.

The US playstation site recently got a trophy update.  It looks like the data is publically accessable now, although not in xml format.  Not ideal but at least it's there and potentially usable.  Try http://profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/profile/<your PSN ID>/get_ordered_trophies_data .

Looks easy enough to parse, but I think they're looking for something more robust than that.

@Devil240Z: Then how does this make you feel? Dave Snider, the head engineer for GB, tweeted about two and a half weeks ago "No trophy stuff... yet. But yes, we should be able to finally start doing Sony stuff soon."
