I recently downloaded Dragonsphere off of GOG and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Dragonsphere was one of the three click and point adventure games developed by Microprose during the adventure game craze. This one is takes place in a fantasy setting where play as a king who goes on a quest to defeat the evil sorcerer Sanwe. (I guess you could call it a king's quest)

The voice acting isn't the greatest and at times can be laughably bad, but the game never feels too hokey. The majority of the puzzles feel relativley logical and simple with the exception of the incredibly frustrating sprite puzzle. Dragonsphere isn't anything amazing, but it's enjoyable and won't take you too long to complete.

There are a few other decent freeware adventure games that I've played but haven't completed yet like Flight of the Amazon Queen and Beneath a Steel Sky.

Are there any decent freeware games that you would personally suggest?

COMPLETE BENEATH A STEEL SKY THEN.

Also, while you're at it - Tyrian is free on Gog too, it's also a fantastic game.

Other than that, Super Crate Box.
