I picked up Persona 4, but I won't get a chance to play it until I replace my PS2.  I also bought Mines of Moria, but am a few levels shy of playing it quite yet. 

L4D, Fallout 3, MK vs DC, SSF2THDR, and probably some other ones.

I'm finishing Dead Space.

I'm getting Civ Rev soon.
I'll be playing some more Fallout 3.

Grand Theft Auto IV, Gears of War 2, and probably Fable II and Burnout Paradise. If Rented games count, then yes, Burnout Paradise along with a plethora of games from 08 would make my list.

I've pretty much played the few that I wanted to last year. Maybe I'll give CoD: WaW a try someday.

I still need to beat Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, and I'll probably revisit some of my XBLA aracde games at times (BCR and Braid)

At some point I'll definitely play GTA IV, Gears 2, Wipeout Pulse, Professor Layton, and N+ this year. I would also consider picking up GRID, Dead Space, Condemned 2, Prince of Persia, and Pure if they're cheap enough.

I'd also like to play LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm PR, Wipeout HD, and No More Heroes, but I doubt I'll have a chance this year since I don't want to buy a PS3 or Wii yet.

Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, Fable II, Left 4 Dead, NBA 2K9, Battlefield: Bad Company, Call of Duty: World at War, Saints Row 2, World of Goo, Mirror's Edge, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, and The Bourne Conspiracy. I got a whole lot of catching up to do. Dude, we need a year off. Let all the game developers know! Stop making games for a whole year so we can catch up and then you'll have more time to polish all your games into masterpieces.

pretty much all of the games I got in 08 simply because I usually go through phases and get nostalgic and want to replay games again. Also the schedule for 09 seems pretty dry to my so I'll play most of my 08 games to keep me entertained
