I'm pretty close to finishing Fire Emblem Awakening.
A ton of my gaming time this year was devoted to older games anyway. I spent 80 hours in Persona 3 FES and 77 in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. I just finished Doom 3 and am currently working my way through Doom 3 RoE. I also finished Doom 2 for the first time this year, and on Ultra Violence too! And now I'm playing Final Fantasy 12, which leaped from boring to fucking excellent in the span of around an hour.
Of what I've played this year, released in 2013, my top five are Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Etrian Odyssey IV, Fire Emblem Awakening, and... well, I'm not sure what I want to place in my fifth slot. SMTIV was disappointing. GTA V doesn't have great controls. Dust: An Elysian Tail's combat was very fun at first but its difficulty doesn't seem to be ramping up at all even on the highest setting. I haven't played enough of SMTDSSH to know if I want to place it on my GOTY list.
So after thinking back on the year man, I think 2013 was one of my favorite years in gaming in awhile. So many good games and games that Im thinking in the long run Ill consider some of the best of the generation like Bioshock Infinite and GTA V.
Not really a long list, but still longer than I thought. Also I actually finished 8 of these games. Personal favorite though was Mount and Blade:Warband which I just discovered this year through the magic of steam sales. Also had a ton of fun replaying Saboteur.

Of the 2013 releases, I still want to play The Wolf Among Us (when it's complete), The Last of Us, GTA V (when it's on PC), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, MGR (when it's on PC), Rayman Legends, Enslaved, and I might play Metro: Last Light, Bioshock Infinite and that first person ninja shooter. But I'm not itching for any of them.
I've played a lot this year compared to other years. Probably 5 times the number of games. I also have a ton of 2013 games I still want to buy and play like Brothers, Saints Row 4, Tales of Xillia, etc.
