So I got Crackdown and Saints Row 1 & 2 from my friend William.  I beat Crackdown and in my opinion the game sucked.  I've now started playing Saints Row 1 and it is poop in my opinion.  So my question is:  Which one is better?  Saints Row 1 or 2?

William is a good man.

You should punch William for giving you games you don't even like.

sucks is  a strong word, what "sucked" about it?

#6 Posted by habster3 (3595 posts) -

I've never played these, especially since two of them are 360 exclusives, but I've never heard someone say these games suck; what is your argument here?

Crackdown is the best game out of all 3, so i suggest you don't play any Saints Row game if you thought Crackdown sucked.

@RichardLOlson: Wow you hated Crackdown!?!?  That game was the most fun I have had in a open world game ever!!!  The dude jumps over buildings, kicks cars super far!!!  This game had lots of awsome!!!  Sure it might not be the hardest game, kind of easy to be truthful but a fun quick run through game.

For Saints Row yea it sucked to many level up missions to get to the next real mission.

Maybe some friendly punching will improve your attitude towards violence? :D

I agree. I say we beat this guy up.

Believe me: the games your friend has let you borrow are very good. Saints Row is immature fun, so you definitely cannot go in the mindset of playing Grand Theft Auto IV. Saints Row is not that kind of game. I spent a lot of time on both, but I couldn't say which Saints Row game is better. I liked them both. SR1 had some cool features, and SR2 has some cool features of its own. So therefore: if you play either, or even better - both, then you're in for one hell of a time!

Crackdown is legit. I'm not into the Saints Row games, which just seem like poorly executed GTA knock offs.

@WilliamRLBaker: Yeah you evil generous bastard, hurting the games industry by not forcing your friend to go and buy the games himself! YOU OBVIOUSLY SUCK!

Also @RichardLOlson:  I've never played the Saints Row games (I seem to remember not liking the demo of the first one though, is the driving assigned to a button rather than trigger?) but I really enjoyed Crackdown and along with pretty much everyone else I'd be really interested in hearing why you disliked it.

I thought Saints Row 2 was fun. Too bad I played the broken ass PC version....

Harsh dude but I lol'd.

Personally I really dug Crackdown. Saints Row not so much so I didn't finish it and failed to buy it's sequel.

tryout saints row 2. If you hate that one too, then i'm afraid you hate fun.

#19 Posted by 9cupsoftea (652 posts) -

I complete understand why you would hate all those games. The stories are dreadful in all of them. Don't bother playing the rest if you're waiting to be engaged by it.

#20 Posted by Barrock (3525 posts) -

Are you not a fan of third person shooters? All three are damn fun games that I finished and loved.

#21 Posted by unclejohnny79 (685 posts) -

i agree with you, those games are not good

#22 Posted by damnboyadvance (4059 posts) -

Saints Row 2 isn't a bad game. Whoever has told you otherwise is either a GTA junkie or involved with the government.

Anything he says after that should be automatically invalid.
