And I really only care about 2 games from each list.

Ubisoft probably has the better lineup. Far Cry 3, AC3, I Am Alive, and Future Soldier could all be pretty good. EA really only has ME3 and all Activision has is COD and Transformers.

Far Cry 3, maybe I Am Alive, but I'm thinking The Last of Us over that. I really do hope the world ends this year, If that's all I have to look forward to.

EA has pretty much nothing of interest to me there. I'll probably get SSX but aside from that EA won't get much from me. Far Cry and Assassins Creed are the only "must have" games on that list.

The only ones interesting to me from that list are Assassins Creed III and I am Alive. I'm thinking about getting into the Mass Effect universe, but I'm not sure yet since I suck at shooters, so ME 3 is not on my list. Prototype 2 would be appealing if Alex Mercer wouldn't be the main antagonist. I LOVE Alex Mercer and can't stand the thought to play some new character that tries to kill my epic Alex. Seriously, bad plot choice.

Activision has the most I care about, with Tony Hawk HD and the Fall of Cybertron.

I'm also somewhat interested in a new open world Spider-man game, even if I couldn't care less about the movie it's based on. Is it new developers on that one though? The past few Spider-man games have been pretty awful.

Assassins Creed III is all I see there. Even then, I didn't like the previous games in the franchise so I'm approaching with cautious optimism.

Activision as zero games I'm interested in this year. EA has a couple but for me Ubisoft wins this with 5 games I'm keeping my eye on.

Besides my bias towards Farcry3 and Assassins Creed III and anything from Ubisoft MTL, I'd say I'm excited for Sim City 5 (6?), I guess that would be published by EA? Hope they don't fuck it up.

I'm looking forward to Overstrike, Insomniac have already proven (to me at least) that they can make funny games with Ratchet and the idea of a four player co-op secret agent adventure with crazy gadgets and a unique artstyle seems cool to me. From what I gather one of the best things about resistance 2 was it's co-op so it's good to see them be able to expand upon something they've already shown some promise in.

I am also looking forward to Mass Effect 3

Only 3 on that list I plan on playing this year.

Battleship? As in, a game based on the movie that's based on the board game? That's going to be a great Quick Look.

It may have been mentioned already, but Fifa 13 and UEFA Euro 2012 are also out this year from EA Sports.

All three have games I want to play (including Fifa, I am Alive, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed etc). E3 will be interesting this year I hope but I expect we wont be seeing any surprises.

I'd just like to say that Take Two's smaller lineup of Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Max Payne 3, The Darkness 2 and XCOM is better than any of those other lineups.

I don't think I care about any of those games tbh. Maybe Far Cry 3 before the recent trailers, and maybe Ghost Recon if it isn't awful.

Come on, if you really want to copy from Wikipedia, then at least write something to put this into perspective. Or at least edit the links to point to GB's own Wiki. Or make them not link directly into Wikipedia's editing page, like for the MiB game, James Bond, Crash Bandicoot, Guitar Hero, Rabbids.

Not much on that list that looks that interesting. Far Cry 3, Mass Effect 3 and Assassins Creed 3 seem to have my most attention because I enjoyed the previous games in those series. The 3's continue on into 2012 it seems.

I can agree that Take Two is better than EA and Activision's lineup but I am not so sure about Ubisoft's. For me, I am looking forward to Far Cry, I Am Alive, both Ghost Recon's, Splinter Cell, and Assassin's Creed 3. Take Two has Bioshock Infinite which is a must buy.

Take-Two deserves a mention. Max Payne 3, BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, the Firaxis X-Com game. And of course, they have the "in case of emergency" nuclear bomb that is GTA V.

Unfortunately, seems like a slim chance at this point for GTA V to drop this year. But those other games ain't too shabby.

As for what's on the front page, all I really want is Assassin's Creed III. The changes they're making and the new setting seem really interesting. Far Cry 3 also looks neat, but I'm not sure yet. Wasn't a huge fan of FC 2.

I am back and forth with Transformers, the video online with the puscifer song grabs you with emotions. I agree 100% with your Ubisoft choices and not at all on EA. Tons of great games coming out nonetheless.

And it still surprises me that Activision makes games that I don't want or need. At least EA, Ubisoft, and Take-Two have something I might get excited for.
